I had leftovers and forgot my stomach thinks it needs more than 2 hours to process meat. I ate a Thats it fruit bar. Sad to say, it was to much. I threw it up. I think I am doing pretty good. Only threw up 4 times in 7 weeks. I am losing 3-4 pds a week. -

You can look at it that way. But what if you do not lose the weight. It could lead to heart attack or other health issues if we continued going down the same road. I do agree that it is a huge change mentally and physically. I am 40 years old. We have eaten one way for so long and now we have to do it another way. -

Has anyone recognized their temperament has changed. I tend t be bothered easier or might make a snappy comment. I cannot say that I miss food that much, but if feels like the adjustment from 40 years of eating can be challenging. -

Med28thmed. I am doing fairly well. I have been back to work for two weeks now. I just moved from purées to moist meats and an egg. All of my incisions have healed but one. I am down down 19 since surgery. I ordered a food scale to weigh the meat. My eyes cannot completely estimate how much is there. -

I just ordered a food scale to help prevent over eating. My eyes are way bigger than my stomach. I felt so bad because I ate a bit to much. I am learning that when I start to burp a little that I should probably stop. Recidivist you should try ricotta bake. Its yummy. This last week I dropped 4.5 pounds. I think I will continue do protein drink each day. -
