all that is normal. Mine is red and does itch. It goes away in time...

I have the same lump in my throat. I doesn't seem to make any difference what I eat. No slime or pain, just annoying and I can drink alot of water and it doesn't seem to matter. Help? Is it a "mini" clog?
-
My hair is grey and I use an ash blonde and have no problem what so ever. I use Nice and Easy and have for years.

I have used Nice and Easy for over 30 years. If you are going lighter, be sure you use one that says "ash". That takes away the brassiness. Plus, you can colo generally after 24 hours. Hope this helps.

I was banded the 31 of July, does that count?:blushing: I have lost 20# :tt1: I am 66 and healing slowly. But feel great. Go for my first fill 9/3..I have a "lump" in my throat constantly. Had a plug one time and never again.:sad: -
I need help going forward
sandee replied to Francoise65's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Go for it. Try and not to be anxious. I know surgery is a big step, but down the line you will be happy you did and won't have the "what ifs." My daughter is scheduled and I can't be more happy for her. She is 31 and has never had a thin day in her life. She was even chubby as a child. "Just do it" as the Nike slogan says. -
I would probably tell him, "Dad. I love you, but this is my decision. Its my body and I hate it and this is the only way that I will feel good about myself." I hope he understands, you don't need any stress in your life at this point.

I had several visits and I disliked him from day one. No sense of humor, and his last comment was, "well, what am I going to do with you?" :w00t: Ah, what? If he didn't know what to do with me, he doesn't belong doing what he is doing. I got fed up and walked out of his office. :frown: So now I am starting over with another clinic. :crying: I know now what to say and what not to say. Beware of giving to much information to these "super god docs"...:huh2: Be honest, but be careful or they will think you are something that you are not.

Should people barely over 200 lbs or below 200 get Lapband or any WLS...?
sandee replied to Froggi's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I think your friend should go some where else. There are many options. Save money, finance, whatever, but to be 300# and be turned down, thats just not right. Was it the insurance or the doctor? If either, change if possible. -

yes, its not the weight number, its the BMI!!!!!! -
If you don't get this under control, you will not succeed. The psych doc may be able to help.

Hey, old ppl are very critical about ppl. My mother is 90 and she has been horrible to me all my life and worst now that shes is 90 and she doesn't even know that I am having the band. She is just mean. Thats just old ppl. When you are thin and beautiful, then lets hear what your MIL has to say.

I have read A LOT on this sight, now I'm worried
sandee replied to ineedthis's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
my daughter is bi-polar, which is depression and manic and she sees a regular psych and she is going to have it done. The lap band psych and her got along great. So don't worry, talk it over with the nurse.. -
MA means medical assistant which is a nurse. I agree, get it checked and ease your mind. I don't care if the doc said its nothing. Its your body and I think you should go, but, don't see the doc that doc if you can help it.

Feeling Sick-May have to reschedule
sandee replied to Yvonne72's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
If you are running a fever, i'm am sure it will be postponed, however, I don't believe that things happen for a reason. You simple got sick. Keep the lap band in mind. Don't ever give up, you will not regret it. -
I think it means you prefer salt to sweets. I am that way myself. However, breads I understand will not do well unless you toast them.
