    *** September 2018 Sleevers ***

Update, I had my surgery on 9/27/2018 at 1:00pm. Started in May at 375. Surgery weight 315. Today's weight 265. Its been an interesting few months. From the two weeks on clear liquid to the last month learning how to eat. I say learning because that is what I'm doing. I found out the hard way that one extra bite of cauliflower mash is what will make me sick. Learned that salmon is really good at filling me up and not making me sick. Read a post earlier about how the brain and the body are fighting each other. I have had alot of that. I also noticed how many food ads are on t.v. Need to work out more, but now that I'm back to normal work, the body is just too tired. If anyone wants to chat with me, ask questions, or any reason at all, feel free to message me.

    *** September 2018 Sleevers ***

1 Week today.... well not till 4:00pm today, but close enough.... down 15lbs in the week. yesterday was the 1st day that I felt almost normal. I have been taking my protein, and my fluids, the gas pain has pretty much left, but hey moving along. Sitting here drinking my Isopure, getting ready to start my 2nd week of clear fluids. What I wouldn't do for a bowl of tomato soup. Hope all the other September losers are having a good go at it.
  4. Question to those who have been here a while. Did anyone experience night sweats? I wake up after about 3 hours of sleep just soaked, sheets, pjs etc. I thought i may have had a low grade fever, and the perceocet, with tylonol was breaking it, but I didn't use it last night. I'm 4 days post op. Thoughts?

    Day 2

You and I had our surgery on the same day. I was out yesterday night. Still kinda weak, but moving along. I took several of the narcotic to help me sleep last night. Did my 1st walk this morning with no major discomfort. Just wish this gas issue would go away.

Not doing great in pre-op diet

My last week or pre-op has been normal food, just under 1000 cal per day. I have been pretty good, but not perfect. If perfection was the only way to go forward with this lifestyle change, I don't think many people would be able to do it. I have my surgery tomorrow, and am on clear fluid all day today. That is not an option. Get back on track and be good moving forward.

9/27 is my surgery date. I'm worried but not scared. I am more concerned about eating in the full liquid phase. Clear liquid i think will be fine, but the next step with soups and such is what worries me. Anyone have any feed back on the items they offer for sale on this site??

    Anyone scared

I'm 13 days from having my surgery. I can't say i'm not scared, but I am very nervous. I'm worried about missing out on the things I enjoy in life. Beer, parties, being social and going out. I'm sure with time those will go away, but right now, 13 days out.... I'm nervous.
