I, I'm a newbie to this whole idea. I am a 310lbs, 6ft. male. I have very bad back painn, sciatica and a afib. Five spine surgeons have said no to surgery on my back because of my weight. They want me down around 225lbs. I'm 65 and have not been 225 since college. I'm retire, played golf and love to eat good food. I'm a trained chef but retired as a chief engineer. I know what is good food and what is not and how to prepare it. How can I ever change my feeling toward food to limit myself to such small portions. I go for my first visit with the bariatric team on Wednesday. Scared, depressed and in pain.
