    Swelling?

What did your surgeon use to inflate your abdomen, then? Whipped cream? 🤔☺️🎈

Hair Loss Already, less than 2 months out! *WHINE*

Ha...thinning hair, not thinking hair. I hate this phone sometimes.

I'm worried about thinking hair, too, because my hair is already thinking terribly. And, I already have to shave my chin and neck every morning like a guy. All of my labs come back normal...no thyroid or hormonal issues, so who knows what's going on with me. I'm actually thinking about buying a wig for post surgery. N
  4. Hi everyone! I've posted a couple times over the past few weeks, but have been reading posts on this site since july when I first began thinking about pursuing this surgery. I just want to thank you all for sharing your experiences here. I already feel I've learned a great deal from all the helpful posts here. With that being said, I finally have a couple of questions of my own to ask. 1). Does your pouch or your remainder stomach growl anymore after the surgery? The reason I ask is that I have a stomach legendary for it's growls. I teach English at anuniversity near Cleveland and students are amazed at how they can hear my stomach sometimes all the way in the back of the room. What a wonderful NSV that would be if that could go away lol. 2). I'm sure others have asked this before, but how much actual hunger have any of you experienced in the days/weeks/months following surgery? I've heard so many different answers to this, and I'd be interested in hearing yours as well. Thanks again! 😊

  6. Thanks for posting this, twinmama. Like frustr8d, I've had pancreatitis in the past and that worries me about this surgery. I'm still in the pre-op testing phase, and am still weighing the pros and cons of the surgery.

    Frustr8

Can't tomkitten get a job? Every place seems to be hiring now.
  8. Hi frustr8d. I'm new to this site and have noticed that some of your posts have a tag stating "false.". What do you mean by tagging it this way?

Starting to plan thanksgiving & Christmas

I've been wondering the same thing. I'm in the pre-op phase, but am shooting for an early-mid December surgery date. My thought was to cook Thanksgiving dinner for myself and my grown children and grandson, and then freeze leftover plates for Christmas dinner. But I'm not sure about that. I just wonder how tired I might be at Christmas if it's only a couple weeks past my surgery, and would I even be able to tolerate some food smells at that time. Maybe the best bet would be to send them all to a Bob Evans after Mass.lol

    False tag?

Hello, I'm new to this site and I have a question about tags I've seen in the upper left hand side of some users posts. The tags are purple and say "false". What does that mean?
