  1. Hey guys. As of today, I got the call and my surgery has been approved from the insurance. My pre-op visit is now scheduled for this Friday and surgery on the 16th. Y’all. I am terrified. I’m scared that my body won’t handle the surgery well. Scared that I can’t ever reverse it and eat normally again. Scared that I will die in surgery. So many things. I know I am just having the normal pre op jitters but I am so scared. I just want to know that other people also felt this way before your surgery. The countdown is on now.
  2. Hey there guys! This is my first post ever on here. I am 22 and I am still in my pre-op phase but about to get my surgery date for the sleeve any day now! My question is for those post op. I live in Oklahoma City, by the way. So i'd like to keep close-ish to home. My starting weight was 461 and I'm now down to 427. (YAY!) I have been so insanely overweight my entire life, I have never went on a roller coaster before, especially after I got kicked off of a thrill ride when I was 18 on my senior trip... My pant size right now is a 28 in women's which makes my waist size like a 60ish. I am REALLY wanting to go out and ride all of the roller coasters that will let me on post op. I am just looking for some assistance from personal experience, what size pants or waist were you when you rode a REAL roller coaster? How much did you weigh when you went? Ladies, I have a normal hip size for my weight, flat booty, but I'm also relatively larger upstairs. Most of my weight is carried in my stomach and thighs but when I'm post op, maybe that will change a bit. I am REALLY hoping someone can give me some pointers and tips and just generally something to look forward to! Thanks!
  3. I just got approval today too! Woo. Go October sleevers.
  4. I have so many. I am only 22 and I haven't ever lived. So here are some of mine. 1. Go out on a boat and scuba dive on the reef, not being afraid of not being able to get back in. 2 . WHITE WATER RAFTING (This is one my big life dreams) 3. Ride on an airplane and feel comfortable. 4. Wear a swim suit and feel confident. 5. Go out to a club and actually dance and not be embarrassed. 6. Ride a roller coaster. 7. Fall in love. 8. Everything else in life. I am so ready to feel free.
