I have been overweight all my life.  My mom used to call me her little butterball.  I have tried every diet known to mankind.  I was never really successful, few pounds here and there always to come back quickly and more so.  After having my children my health started to fail high blood pressure, diabetes, depression.  After living like this for 10 years I was fed up with all the medication.  In 2008, my insurance decided to cover lapband surgery.  I went to a seminar at the local hospital and I was sold.  It was time to do something for myself, not for my husband, children, but for me.  I am so glad I have the lapband.
