I would have said its too soon to go, as how do you know you are going to be up for all that walking/standing about, & the others are going to be eating, drinking, going on rides having a good time when you might be in pain/discomfort & over do it just for the sake of it, I would go for my OP, to me thats more important & catch up with his sister another time, im sure she will understand?

Its best to have little fills at a time to stop any complications

I got told i would lose 40-50% of the weight, ive lost 71 lbs & still no restriction...in 3 months go by what your body says/does..everyone is different

congratulations to EVERYONE who lost weight, wether it be 1 lb or more, & it does NOT matter how long or quick the weight comes off, the important thing is its coming off? & i believe it stays off if your a fast loser too so well done to ALL of us for giving this a go :thumbdown:

I got my blood results back last week, I was told i have high vitamin D, all other bloods normal, my colesterol is now 5.0 from 7.4 & hair falling out but not panacking as i have thick hair

WOW, 70 lbs gone & now a UK size 18 :w00t: It feels great & today i have cleared out any last trace of my old big clothes & it felt fantastic standing in front of my wardrobe looking at my slimmer clothes, i dont think ive ever seen so many different coloured clothes,as i would wear dark ones before, 14 lbs to go then getting my new tattoo to which id better start looking around for a nice design, im thinking of getting one on my wrist, a small one, an achievement thing for me & getting my belly button pierced hope it doesnt hurt too much

stitches on the inside then glued, & my port is stapled to keep it in place

1 lb loss = 14 lbs altogether

mine was 12 weeks after surgery

good luck with finding a good surgeon, like others have said on here it doesnt really matter how much you've got to lose its the keeping it off bit is the hardest & with the banding you should be able to do that, it would be such a shame to throw your money on other gimmic things that are not going to work for you you & end up putting more weight on & then having to pay to be banded later down the line..
