HW: 401 SW: 378 CW: 250 GW: 160 My surgery was on November 23rd, I'm 7 months post op and I'm currently down 128lbs since surgery, 151lbs total. I've been noticing a lot people have been losing faster or slower and I'm proud of all of you! The reason I'm posting is because I was wondering if any of you have been feeling like you're falling back into old habits or if you have a fear of failing? I've been having a lot of mixed feelings since my journey and I'm not sure how everyone else feels. Sometimes I have great eating days, other times I'm ashamed and realized I did a horrible job following my plan. I'm stuck somewhere between who I was and who I want to be. Am I alone in this? For me personally, I've been overweight since I was 2 years old. I hit 300lbs by 12 years old and last summer I was 402lbs. I had a much higher sex drive at my higher weights than since my surgery. I'm 249 now and I'm still feeling blah. Sent from my SM-G960U using BariatricPal mobile app

Agreed! I feel so guilty towards my partner, because it's literally all me. I feel like everything has been such a mess lately. Feel free to PM me if you need to talk! Sent from my SM-G960U using BariatricPal mobile app

I've experienced this too. I'm 7 months out, 150lbs down and I feel like I have absolutely no sex drive at all. I don't feel much sexier or have much drive to do things lately. Sent from my SM-G960U using BariatricPal mobile app

I feel the same way too. And every day has been a complete and utter struggle. Sent from my SM-G960U using BariatricPal mobile app

Hi ladies! Has anyone had any experiences with getting the depo shot post-surgery? My surgery was Nov. 23rd, 2018. I'm terrified of the weight gain aspect and I was thinking of switching to the patch instead. Any advice would be much appreciated! Thank-you. I'm almost 5 months out, and I'm 100lbs down from my date of surgery (369 lbs - surgery was Nov. 23rd 2018) and I'm currently 269lbs as of this morning! I did have a 30 day stall from March until about the 8th of this month, but I seem to be losing steadily again. ♡ Sent from my SM-G960U using BariatricPal mobile app

Questions about weight-loss post op.
Angelx posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hi there! I had my surgery on November 23rd, 2018 and I weighed 369lbs. As of today, I'm 295lbs. In total, I've lost 74lbs in 3 months. Is that the appropriate amount to be losing? Should I have lost more than that 3 months post op? I always feel like I could be doing better...any advice would be a huge help! Thanks! Here's a comparison photo from the last 3 months. I'm super shy and haven't really reached out to anyone yet. My entire process started really slow and has literally been moving so fast that it's hard to keep up. I started this process in July. My highest weight was 401 and my current weight is 360. I met with the surgeon yesterday, my surgery is scheduled for next Friday and my liquid diet starts today. It's hard to believe that I've met all my goals, got cleared from nutrition and psychology and saw the surgeon in just a few months. It been almost surreal. I'm hoping to make a few friends and help encourage people going through this process too! Here's a little bit about me: Name: Angel Age: 26 Height: 5'8 Cw: 360 Hw: 401 Nice to meet everyone! Good luck on your journeys. [emoji3] Sent from my SM-G960U using BariatricPal mobile app

Did you have a lot of pain? I had laparoscopic surgery before and the worst of it was the gas pains... Sent from my SM-G960U using BariatricPal mobile app

I've always been a super shy person. Especially in high school. College definitely helped me branch out! I just can't believe how fast everything is going. Sent from my SM-G960U using BariatricPal mobile app
