Food Before and After Photos

We went out for breakfast. Beef daube with biscuits on top. This and the biscuits is what was left. -
Okay, I am dressed all sporty for my first horse lesson in this. The paddock boots no longer look or smell the same as they did this morning. I went shopping yesterday and was digging the pumpkin colors that are everywhere right now.

Both of those meals look delicious. -
That is adorable. I love it.

This dress is PERFECT on you.

I went shopping. I ended up getting the black dress. It has some pretty embroidered flowers on the skirt. Oh, and the wrap shirt! I tried it on in an XL and heard your voices scolding me that it was too big 😂, so I went down a size.

My vote is the tan one, mostly because it looks AMAZING with your legs!

Last night I read the goal and NOPED out of it, but joke’s on me; I accidentally woke up 30 minutes early today. i have a very long work day today, but I’m going to squeeze in a nice walk.

Mine was 50+ with no comorbidities. I had to gain 8 lbs. it was ridiculous. Insurance varies. You should call yours to get specifics.

Your exercise schedule looks totally normal/reasonable. I was asked by a well-meaning friend yesterday if my caloric intake was appropriate for my activity level, or if I’m overdoing it. All I had to say was “my nutritional intake and my activity level are both approved by my surgeon, who is quite happy with my progress”. That shut down the conversation and left no hurt feelings.

I won’t lie, I’d eat the hell out of the Mac and cheese. -
That doesn’t sound like a weird goal. It’s a great one. Kudos to you for recognizing it creeping back in. And your fun fact is HILARIOUS.

My personal goal(s) of this month: To break into Onederland To increase my running distance from 3.5 miles to 5 miles for my long run. Surgery type: Gastric Sleeve Status: 3 months post-op Weight & BMI: 210 and 37 Fun fact: Ummm, huh, I’m not very exciting. OKay, I know how to do soooo many art/craft media, here’s a list: stained glass, fused glass, glass torchwork, throwing ceramics on the wheel, hand building ceramics, sewing, from couture to sewing for short run theater, Oil painting, watercolor painting, tie dye, acrylic painting, woodworking, handcarving, relief printing, copperplate etching, lithography, monotype, collagraph, screenprinting, basic metalsmithing (jewelry), beadwork, spinning yarn, knitting, crochet, weaving, felting, quilting, photography (both darkroom and digital), drawing, lots of different sculpture methods, and letterpress. I’m sure there are more, but that’s what comes to mind.

My Gall Bladder hath failed me
AngieBear replied to Avery's Mom's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Oh, that stinks. I had my gallbladder removed a few years ago, after I’d lost a bunch of weight (which of course I regained ). It is a common issue after weight loss. Recovery time was about the same as my sleeve surgery, but without the hydration/eating issues. So somewhere between a week to two off from work. -
Yeah, my goal weight according to charts would be 115. Which, uh, seems low.

BMI 37, Score 50/70. Obese, recommended weight loss. It said my goal weight of 135 is overly aggressive. But, we’ll see. I’m halfway there now. I actually take this score as winning. I am SO HAPPY to be out of the super morbidly obese range, forever. It feels like a huge weight has been lifted (har har har, I crack myself up). I also loved being able to see their recommendation of losing weight, and instead of hanging my head like “I know, I know”, my mental dialogue was “on it!”. It’s comforting knowing that I’m utilizing the tool that is most likely to lead to long term success.

Right?! They look amazing. I miss bagels, and once I’m out of the honeymoon/losing phase I’m definitely going to give these a try! -
That outfit is damn cute!

Hey now, be nice to yourself. I’m not at goal, and everyone in here has been nothing but nice. I also certainly don’t look like a hippo, and still rock some cute outfits. Other posters aren’t at goal and still look great! We don’t need to hide in the shadows or be ashamed of how we look, at any step. I refuse to, and find the sentiment that being a bit (or even a lot) from a specific weight means that you should hide or aren’t worthy of nice clothes disheartening and sad. Bears unite! Love your body in all its stages ❤️ Or at least don’t say mean things about it ❤️

YES to all of this. I admire the hell out of anyone that can wear pumps!

Thank you! In a few pounds, I’ll be the smallest I’ve been as an adult. I have NO IDEA what I’ll look like in 75lbs, when I get to goal. It’s all part of the adventure!
