Mmmmmm that does sound good! -
Ha! It's now actually true! Anyways, hi there, BrightFuture! Glad you finally came out and said hi Looks like we have another young'un in the house, guys! Bright, just start heckling Yoda, and you'll fit right in! She loves it! Great job so far with your weightloss!!! Pssssssss..... who else is creeped out that people are reading us, and we don't even know?! LOL, just kidding
-
Thanks guys I'd be happy to be at 200 or 199 by Xmas... that's all I wanted, so anything more would be a huge bonus! I will have to try Reitmans... thank you ! My mom was hassling me to send her pictures, but I said no way... she's waiting til Christmas! And Cloe... look at you! 65lbs in 5 months?! YOU'RE doing awesome! Ok, everyone, consider yourself slapped in the face with the magic weight loss fish!!
-
hehe, me too.
-
Good point... how do they decide what's NOT illegal in a parking lot!?
-
That's INSANE! I've heard that there's 'no rules' in parking lots, but didn't think it was true. I guess it is. Wow... that really sucks. You should hunt her down, find her in a parking lot, and kick the crap out of HER car!
-
I really don't know... I don't have anything planned. Hmmm... who know?!
-
I wouldn't. I'd wait til you get back from your vacation. Lots of people feel nothing from their first fill, but you never know. You could be too tight (or become too tight) after your fill, and if you're out of the country, finding someone to do a de-fill could be difficult.
-
Who else are you waiting to hear from regarding fills? Eek! Let us know what happens. How about trying this guy: Romona Ramov 1080 Howe Street Suite 505 Vancouver, BC V6Z 2T1 Phone: 1 (604) 669 1633 His name was on the list of fill Dr's that mookie posted. It's worth a try. And yeah, today is EXACTLY 30 weeks since my surgery. I am doing good now, and losing pretty steadily (for now). I don't know why, but I'm not gonna complain!

Wow green... interesting day! Take care of those bowels, ok? You were with Joffe/Yau, right? Did THEY(he) tell you your liver was ginormous? He'd know better than anyone. Can you feel a freakin' liver by prodding someone?! Sorry you had to defend your choice to have surgery... I'm rueing the day someone does that to me! Glad you got yourself a thread... tell us more!
-
ahh... not my Monte Cristo's!
-
haha... that's funny. I haven't been! I guess I'd just take a little bit of whatever the meat is, hope and pray that its ok, maybe have some veggies or salad. Or just don't go! Claim to not be feeling too good... ?
-
Oh Wheezy... welcome  Yeah, you'll want to be careful eating in situations like that. If I have to, I'll order something that's easy, like Soup... I take forever to eat it, and am still eating by the time everyone else is done their 'real' meals, but I'm usually ok with it. You might not be chewing as well as you think you are... and maybe that you were sooooo hungry, you went a little too fast, or bit a little more than you should have? You'll probably have to reevaluate everything you've taught yourself so far, and change things now that you've got some restriction! (like me in the good old days, realizing I *COULD* eat Subway (a 6", maybe half of another = 9") {haha, yeah yeah, I know guys...} ?! I thought I was set for life... subway ALL the time! Then I got my last fill, and now can have maybe 2-3 bites of a sub). Be that as it may, I'm STILL gonna go to Quizno's when I go home for Xmas, and I'll eat a sub if it takes me all week. I miss it sooooo...

BrightFuture! I see you! Come say hi  (or better yet, start your own thread, and ramble away... we don't want to hijack Cloe's)
-
Cloe, you're cheap. Sign me up for some more sessions.
-
I'd probably do that too, but with my track record, I'd be up 2 lbs the next day, then I'd be depressed. Somehow if I don't write it down (or note it somewhere), it isn't REALLY a real weight! LOL

Good for you, Yoda.... re-discovering your band. -
Welcome SUNSRETURN and Doriana! Suns, you've got the same starting weight as me! And I believe it's Dr. Leung that will do your fills in Vancouver.... someone will correct me if I'm wrong. I know there's someone getting their fills there... (ragergirl, for sure is)
-
Is it anything like a Monte Cristo? Sounds like it, but mine has ham, turkey and cheese.
-
Hmm.. I've heard that too. I'm scared of the girls/staff at Le Chateau, so I probably wouldn't anyways. I'm scared of most of those stores. I dared to go into one a couple weeks ago, and I was so nervous. I was just waiting for them to give me "Yeah right" looks, etc.
-
Yes, I suppose I did. I'll be turning 26 next month, and it's a good way to kick off the next 3/4 century. Maybe I'll be quit smoking by then... down 80 (?) lbs... crazy. I should bleach my hair and go all out! My parents aren't heavy (well, not really) either. My grandma is, and her whole family is. I've always been told I look exactly like my grandma, so I probably picked that up too. Hopefully your son, Cloe, will get things under control, and won't have to worry about his weight when he is an adult. But it IS now (his age) that's the worst time to be fat. :girl_hug: Maybe he'll take after you and your stellar new habits? And no, I never saw that Oprah today... I wish I had known, I would have DVR'd it! Everyone's talking about it though. I don't think I have any new habits, but I definitely haven't been too excited about giving up smoking. I think I do have an addictive personality, so, who knows what's next. For Dan's sake, lets hope it IS sex.

ahh... I guess I'm not the cheese connoisseur I thought I was. I was always in awe of my friends who had blocks of cheese in their fridges. We never did, in my house, for some reason. Oh how I longed for the days that *I* would buy my own cheese, and eat it whenever I wanted. Imagine me, sweat pants and a chunk of cheese in my hand. Look at me now, mom! LOL

Hey, you never know! :girl_hug:
