    Clavicle/shoulder pain when swallowing

I eat less than 1/2 cup, I added that information as have read information about eating too much. I normally get that feeling at around 3 bites in when I’m eating chicken mince or something of that consistency, I had no such issues with purée phase.
  2. Hi I’m about 5 weeks post gastric sleeve surgery and have been moving my way through the food phases. I’m currently on soft food. Sometimes on, swallowing I get pain in my clavicle. I eat less than 1/2 a cup at a time and eat slowly and make sure my food is cooked well. I’ve eaten mainly minced chicken with veggies like cauliflower, leak carrots. Is what I’m experiencing normal?
  3. Thanks for that, big help
  4. But is it calculated from your heaviest weight or from your surgery weight? I lost 40 pounds pre surgery.
  5. There are many variables that ultimately get you to your goals so I am not just going to rely on the scales to measure my success but I wanted to know what I can expect. I am confused about predicted weight loss with a sleeve. Is your predicted % weight loss calculated from your weight at surgery or your heaviest weight ?

    Intermittent Fasting

I’m only 2 weeks post op and little appetite at present, however as I understand it, the next 12-18 months are like the “honeymoon” period where you need to set up good long term eating habits. The hormone responsible for appetite can increase . The pitfall will then be to slowly increase calories in and back to old habits. I guess what I’m saying is don’t go into something without being informed and understanding how your body works/responds.

    Intermittent Fasting

Interesting but would be concerned about getting essential daily vitamins/minerals in long term, ie need fats to absorb vitamins ADEK. I guess as long as you can maintain it and not risk stretching out your stomach
