Hey all, I just had surgery on 5/6. I lost 20 Pounds. ! Everything has been going perfect. Except the heart burn. if i drink water or anything my chest immediately catches on fire lol . I just started taking the 1 tablet a day the DR prescribed but honestly is this forever?

So im on my pre op diet and i have not cheat 1 bit and im not hangry yet. lol The nurse called and we talked about my protein i need to be eating! she said i can have a subway veggie sandwich with but on eat 1 side of the read. She told me i have a option daily i could eat any type of seafood throughout the day except lobster because it rubbery and harder to digest or a 4 oz lean meat like a steak and patty . This is relief because i feel a food headache coming on BIG TIME.!

So I’m / weeks late for my period . And it came on today. A few hours later I woke up from a nap and this piercing and stabbing pain I never felt before happen. It was quick and as of right now only 1 time . I know my hormones are going to be crazy but HOLY shit .! it woke me up out my sleep.

i have anthem bcbs . Hey , Before i started this process i didnt have a PCP. I went to anthem website found a PCP threw them called and scheduled. I told my dr what im doing and he agreed surgery is whats best. With in 2 days my NEW pcp sent my medial necessity form to my bariatric center . No , I use to have heart burn but thats because i would eat stupid stuff like pizza in the morning. But this feeling makes me feel like my chest is about to explode. I hope the feeling does go away.

Whats a sour stomach. ? We i consume anything i get this wierd feeling that causes me to muscle spasm

On the way to the hospital. Today I get my Tool installed and as I type this I’m crying tears of joy . Pray for me

I hope this isnt a life long issue. It makes me not what to consume anything at all.

Thank you!! My dr said your first month they have a goal . But realistically Most can reach it . Just do as much as you can and take your vitamins youll be fine! My pain has calmed down a lot. My pain mostly comes from heart burn and acid reflux from water lol

Hello all , Sorry i have been gone. Just recovering and getting us to my new tool. I lost 20 pounds in 2 weeks! I went from a 3x starting my journey to a 1x post surgery!!!!!

My hardest part is getting fluids down . Omg it hurts so bad . I’m trying my best to get in as much as I can.! My doctor said 80 oz a day . PHHHT he better be happy I’m sipping 30 oz a day. I’m happy it’s over tho . But don’t let ppl fool the pain is real .!

Omg guys . Sorry I’ve been gone but the recovery process is real . I could barely keep my eyes open and when I did it headed for the bathroom and a few laps in my yard then back to sleep . Now I’m sitting on the edge of my bed at 2:00 am can’t sleep and listening to my stomach cursing me out

Hi everyone , today the day I’m on my way to the hospital and I’m super nervous !!!

So i had pre op yesterday and this morning i had a phone call from the hospital then a call with the anesthetist. Im still in shock this is happening

CONGRATSSS! My pre op was yesterday ! They hit me with a big bag of bills and and punch of prescriptions that need to be filled.

My surgery is Monday and i have some concerns! Now i do read all the success stories so you dont have to give me that whole spill about look at the good and not the bad. I dont want to hear it. I've been following a lot of people who has had surgery before or just had surgery within the last 2 months and right after surgery. People start to feel emptiness and sad and it seems like heavy depression. When does that pass and how do you cope? I really love bariatricpal facebok group .

Thank you so much , My goal is to look on the bright side. I guess im just a little nerves about having something removed and going under sedation so im finding what ever to bother me and question my self .

SO its normal? I just dont want to have a feeling of regret. Im already depressed about my best friend Passing. Which the psych eval Dr said that's normal with grief! The group is amazing more effective. Questions get answered a lot quickly

I was thinking about geting the zozo suit for my measurements but im sure My granny can help me . Someone said if i have a stall dont worry about it my body is working on my inches instead of weight .

Right my dietician gave me that i asked her about working out after surgery and she said i could just dont over do it

Lol With this preop diet i never knew how much i was going to miss food until NOW smh
