Down 79 post op and sleeved on the 21st. Feeling good about weight loss but need to get to the gym more, losing some muscle mass. Walking 4 flights in the city with two kids might be helping the weight loss. Feel better physically, joints and previous sports injuries, meeting my 60-90g protein goal but still feel really full after eating anything. Also experience dizziness when standing up too quick but surgeon said its a normal reaction to losing a lot of weight and my body adjusting.

Hi All, I was just upgraded to stage four diet today and looking forward to eating some more meals with texture as opposed to the shakes and liquids from the past two weeks. Do you guys have any good recipes for stage 4? I'm restricted from whole fruits and vegetables and starches.

Was sleeved on August 21st, just had my 2 week post op appointment and onto stage four foods, excited to eat more than just shakes! No pain or soreness left and looking for a gym to maintain muscle mass as I lose. Good luck to the rest of you! -

Maybe check online for a nurse you can hire through care.com or another website like that. -
Surgery part 2 performed 8/22/18
YoungDad replied to rebchief's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Had my surgery on the 21st with trouble sleeping at night. I laid down flat on my back with pillows under my head and my arms and felt like I slept better with the incisions. Being really adamant about your pain meds helps a lot, slept much better night 3 with a real medication schedule. I also took tylenol between the oxy or other pain meds they might give you. I have the same tightness when drinking G2, I have been walking around after I take a sip that I know will feel tight before it is painful and it definitely hurts less going down when walking. Excited to be 2 weeks post op with a lot less pain! -
Just had my surgery on the 21st, my biggest advice would be to stick to a hardcore schedule for your meds. It helps so much with pain management to eat your food post op and sleeping as well. Walking around has also helped a lot when I have gas build up or if I drink water a little too fast. Good luck!
