I am considering getting my VSG done with Dr Michel Gagner in Montreal, Quebec. I am self-pay and live in Toronto. It is so hard to find a reputable and experienced surgeon but one that won't cost $20,000 here in Canada.
So far everything seems good with this doctor and he is clearly a pioneer in the field, however, a lot of his material and reviews are pretty dated... there is a lack of current reviews dating 2017-2018. I don't know, I just feel for a pioneer, there would be a slew of reviews and videos. The great thing is he's rate #1 in Montreal on ratemd.
Any help would be very appreciated.
