I too am a slow loser

I have only lost 15 pounds since the operation which was the 15th of January 2008. I am also really concerned as the rest of my body is getting somewhat smaller my stomach is at huge as it was orginally and it is also really hard. Is this common? I am getting really upset and the frustration is setting in. Any words of wisdom here I would love some.... -Shellhisto:unsure:
  2. I am getting frustrated as I have the surgery on the 15th of January and have only lost 1 stone or 15 pounds. My body is getting somewhat smaller though my stomach is remaining quite large and it is extremely hard. I need advice as to is this common and does anyone have a suggestion on how to get rid of the hardness in the belly. Thanks! -Shellhisto :confused2:
  3. I think you just get so frustrated because like many many band recipients we have tried thousands of diets in the past and we are sick of failing at one more thing. I know the band is a tool and most of us have put on the weight over many years but I think we are frustrated because we all want to know what is it like to feel really really full with no urge to eat another bite! I had my sugery the 15th of January and have lost around 20 lbs. I am at 5cc from yesterday and still really no restiction. I have another fill in the middle of May so I am crossing my fingers! -Shellhisto

Thank you so much the lovely words of encouragement. I have lost around 20 so far and I have now had the second fill so I am at 5 cc. My doctors say that I need to listen to the band and learn how use it instead of work against it. I think my problem was too much wine on the weekends. It is full of sugar and calories. I feel more motivated and I hope I can help you in anyway also! Again thanks and keep working at it! -shellhisto:thumbup:
