Basically they are checking for eating disorders and mental health issues. Most of the visit was conversation was very laid back and just chit chat to make sure your head is on straight...Had my eval the end of Sept. Surgery date 12/11 -

Protein shakes??
Bluesheeler replied to Excited for a new me's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I was just approved yesterday. But I did the same thing. I bought a few brands and tried them. Premier Protein and Muscle Milk I like the best. I get choc and vanilla. The vanilla ones I put orange extract in them and they taste like crèamsicles..I use different types of extracts.. I also like Whey protein shots, they are 42 grams a shot and taste like punch -
Shocking to me mine was approved in a week after my medical reports where done and they had all paper work. 1st class was in August, last class was 10/18. Paper work to insurance was sent in on 11/9 and I was approved on 11/13 and Surgery date is 12/11

Bluesheeler replied to catavsg's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am waiting for a date too. I was told 2 to 3 months, but this late in the year they try to get all applicants before the 1st of the year. Its my docs office that bugs them and they started bugging the insurance company the day all my test where done. Hope you get yours soon and Hope I am right there with you...GOOD LUCK -
CONGRATULATIONS ...This is 2 days after you posted so I am hoping all went well for you. I just finished my final nutrition class and all test and Appointments are done. Now just to get a surgery date. Even though I am very anxious in a good way to get this done, I tend to still have some questions in my head of, To Do or Not to Do... I want you to know I came across your post just as a question was in my head, but your Happy Face on a stretcher and a thumbs up was just what I needed.....Thank You for sharing and I hope to see you making nothing but PROGRESS in the coming days
