    Happy Monday!! @@s_suther I'm so sorry about your roller coaster! Glad to see you're back with a plan. @@punkinvine sounds like you had a fun girl night!! I am going to work extra hard this week. I'm at 203 and I've been yoyoing the same 2-3 pounds for weeks now I want to get below 200 this week. I just don't feel like I'm eating that much. I just wonder if my years with the band could have affected my metabolism. Has anyone ever heard of this?? My plan today B- eas protein shake L- turkey pepper jack cheese avocado wrapped in lettuce S-Greek yogurt D-chicken thigh & roasted cabbage Have a great one!

Welcome! @@punkinvine I love to make a pot of chili and make ahead my bowls for lunches. I guess everyone else is busy! Missing you all! I've been battling terrible head hunger today!! I know it's just boredom...so I sliced up an apple and have been eating on it all afternoon...it takes me a long time to eat one. So far I have won! Back off head hunger! Today's plan B-- 2 sausage patties & lite babybel cheese L-- turkey/pepper jack cheese sandwich on orrowthin bum S--Apple D-- steak/ cauliflower Hope you're having a great weekend!
  3. I was having trouble with people drinking all of my coffee creamer when in the original container. So now I pour it up in a Tupperware type container and nobody touches it....guess it doesn't look as inviting ???? or maybe they don't know what it is

    I'm here! I'm here! S_suther sounds like you've had a great day! My brother has a small farm and they brought us some fresh eggs last night. I've never had them but they swear they are so much better. $4 is pricey! My brother gets $2.50 a doz. stayed on track with my food and I was pooped after school but went to the gym anyway and got 2 miles in. Hope everyone else is having a good day! I'll post tomorrow's plan in the morning!

    Didn't get much walking in yesterday and ate a less than desirable dinner but my daddy was in town and I got to visit with him! Today back at it B--Greek yogurt L-- chicken taco soup S-- almonds D--grilled chicken thighs Brussels sprouts Back to the gym for a walking episode of scandal! Hope everyone had a great day!

    Happy Monday all! I am back at school after a restful spring break and my kiddos seem a bit tired so that is good! Punkinvine sounds like you have a plan. I wish I had room for a garden to grow my own veggies S_suther life can't always be op! I'm glad you are able to enjoy in moderation and get back on track! I wouldn't be able to do that preband! Justwatchme you never know..could just be some water weight. I bet it all evens out this week Bacon...family first always! Will keep you in my prayers! Today I am back with a plan B-2 sausage patties & string cheese L--leftover taco soup Trying not to snack today but almonds ready if I need them D--blackened salmon and roasted broccoli Fruit pop for my sweet tooth Have a great day!

    Well our camping trip was cut a day short because of rain. But I live in dry west Texas so I will never complain about rain! Overall I did pretty good with food except for yesterday. But I was on vacation and let myself have some treats. I'm behind on the challenge (not the walking part though). There are so many things that I am grateful for with my wls. One of the hardest was being able to accept a compliment. It took me forever to simply say thank you. I always wanted to follow with yes but I have more to lose. So I am thankful to just say thank you! I will be back with a food plan tomorrow!!

    Hello peeps! I am still around! Still camping. If I stand on my right foot , lean to the left, and stick my tongue out I get a signal ???????? I see everyone is doing well. I am having a great time. Lots of walks, reading, fishing, and jig saw puzzles. Eating hasn't been too bad. So I'm happy. So behind on the challenge but I can honestly say camping is something I enjoy so much more now. Want to go for a walk??? I honestly answer sure! And I love every minute of it! Not before. I would make up any excuse I could not to go. ❤️ u guys. I'll check in again when the wind is blowing right!! Lol

    I agree with bandista... Call your doc. I don't remember ever being nauseous like that. Keep us posted!

    Should I change to a new type lap band ?

    I had my band placed in 2008 and I had a leak last year. It was after an unfill I was working on refilling and couldn't ever tell a difference. Come to find out my tubing had a small split in it. Replaced it and my port. Quick and easy surgery.

    Don't feel bad..take as much time as you need! My poor hubby used to try to eat very slowly so he wouldn't finish so much quicker than me. When I was newly banded..I always scoped out where the bathroom was just in case.

    Happy Saturday! I took my scale out of hiding this morning and am happy to report a loss of 2.4 pounds! We are leaving for a camping trip tomorrow so I won't be tempted to weigh this week....hopefully I will make good choices on food...I packed good food..just hope my family doesn't bring anything too bad! No walking today. Taking a break and getting things ready for our trip Eating plan.... B-- 1/4 c chicken salad L-- lean cuisine S-- cottage cheese/peaches D-- probably out Mexican food...might get chicken fajitas and not eat the tortilla Have a blessed day!
  19. @maygoddess. I've had my band since 2008. Very successful losing 144 pounds. Had some issues being too tight ( prob been that way too long). Had an unfill..when they started refilling...didn't notice any restriction. Long story short. Had a leak and had tubing replaced. While untfilled I gained about 50 pounds. Since we began refilling I've lost 21 pounds. It has been a struggle! I don't remember really thinking about what I ate when I first had my band..the weight just slowly but steadily came off. But now I have to make a daily effort of what goes into my mouth. With my 144 pound loss...never really exercised. But now I try to get some type in several times a week....so I'm like you why the heck is it harder now??? Was it a " honeymoon" stage and new and I really followed all the rules? Has the band affected my metabolism?? Has my age affected metabolism?? I know how to eat around my band...I need a band for my brain! I've really been trying to focus on physical hunger and ignore the mental hunger...really been trying to plan my daily food..and adding in exercise..I'm also a member of an accountability group on the veterans forum..do I like doing all of this? Do I want to do it forever? I hope I don't have to. But I need to get the weight off that I've gained.. I don't really log my food ( like you, I'm terrible at it) but just making a plan helps me. I hope you start having success again with your band! Think about joining our accountability group...really helps with support!

Congrats on the loss???? @@bacon great job on the ekill. I've walked every day this week except yesterday( ran errands) congrats on your loss too! ???? @justwatchme. Happy surgiversary! I read your post and you are such an inspiration! Today's plan... B--greek yogurt L--chicken salad on thin bun S--babybel cheese D-- tilapia and zucchini Got some walking in today about 1 1/2 miles which puts me 1/2 mile over the challenge...one thing that's good for me when I walk outside is I can't push the stop button... I mean I have to get back home right? ???????? Have a great day! Let's conquer this weekend!

    Wow y'all are doing great! Had a good day yesterday. Made good food choices and I hit over 10,000 steps on my fit bit. Walked while watching the kiddos at recess and walked the hood after school and then chased my grandbaby and pulled him in the wagon! Fun day! Tomorrow is Friday and I get to weigh....I've been missing my daily check in..hope to see a couple of pounds gone this week...tomorrow starts my spring break! So ready and excited! We are going camping with family which means a lot more down time and food temptations! Little worried there.. Today's plan B--1/2 protein shake greek yogurt L-- chicken salad S--yogurt D-- crockpot cabbage & sausage ( never made it..hope it's good) Busy afternoon but I'll try to sneak some walking in! Let's do this!

    Wow! Great job everyone! Yesterday I made good food choices. No gym, but it was gorgeous here so I walked around the neighborhood absorbing some Vitamin D! Today... B--1/2 Protein shake &greek yogurt L-- leftover green chile chicken S--baby bell cheese D-- hamburger meat is thawing so meatloaf or patties @@JustWatchMe you are in the middle of so many changes...I'm glad you and your therapist are working through all of it. It sounds like it is time for you to put you first! Wish you the very best! Let's do this day people!
  24. I'm kind of the opposite. Had an unfill and ended up not finding restriction. Come to find out there was a leak in my tubing..didn't have prior to the unfill. So after getting that fixed. I feel more restriction with less in my band. Everyone is different. Hope you get it solved

    Monday was on plan...and my new green chile enchilada was yummy. The hubs called it a keeper! Didn't make it to he gym but did a 2 mile video at home Today....
