    sorry i hit the wrong button. anywho dorthy hang in there things will get better. you came to a great place for motivation. you have done a great job 49.5lbs. that is nothing to sneeze at. you should be ever so proud. always remember this is not a track meet this is a merathon. we in it for the long hall baby. so take it one lb at a time. as it didn't take you a seconde to put it on its not gone take you a min. to get it off. so come chill with us and lets loose it together. see you and everyone else at the finish line.

    welcome lonestar, thaks for joinging. yes you are right i do see where some people do not eat very much, but, i have noticed that since thanksgiving alot have started. i guess its time for a feel. you only have 3.5cc. yes maybe you need a fill. im sure that will help. dorthy

    hi my name is china i dont share the same date as mine is 12/15 we have a group if you would like to join. there is no room for negative thoughts. it is going to happen. as you have come to far for it to go all wrong now. just wanted you to know how proud i am for you coming this far. so stay strong and keep ya head up as we are all almost at the finish line. good luck
  7. welcome jbyrd, i know what you mean about being hungry. spoke with my nutrition, and she said to try and eat or drink every 3hrs even if your not hungry. i did also get the jello, s/f popsicles and that really helped out. now the good thing is that you got right back on track. it happens to the best of us as we are hunman. ever since i can get on the scale i stay running to my dr's office like every 2days just to weight myself. went back today and it says im now 392.8 i was 398.6 on tuesday or wendesday. but, the wlc says there scale is the only one that counts so im praying. im stay drinking and that has helped me alot. plus i try and stay busy all the time as well as i workout an hr to an hr and a half a day faithfully 5days a wk. like i said i do eat a light lunch and a reg. dinner as i have to give myself shoots and you need to eat with them. your surgery is the day after mines well all of ours . well good luck and please keep everyone updated on how everyone is doing. even if it is bad as we are here to offer support. see everyone at the finish line.

  11. sorry for the long post, thought it would be cute to maybe post what everyone eat yesterday. maybe that will help us more. so i will go first. b-oj Protein shake s-10oz of egg drop soup l- 6oz chic. salad,6oz tomato juice s-Peanut Butter Protein Shake d- 1 chic. breast, 1c of pea's, .5c roasted squash, .5c d-coffee. s-24oz c.lite
  12. :smile:hi everyone, glad to see the group is starting to grow.:cool: welcome gatormel08, goldibluqq. now to answer a few questions yes it is very hard not only on the liquid diet but, any diet. my advice would to be is to take it one day at a time. hell even one meal or snack at a time. and try and drink Water or c.lite as much as you can. i find that for those of u who need something to chew put the c.lite in the freezer and let it form ice and eat it with a spoon i have been doing that alot. also i bought s/f hard candy. eat about 5 pieaces a day. and i started trying to eat or drink every 3hrs. i do shakes, broth, c.lite, egg drop Soup all day but i do have a light dinner. i hope this helps everyone out. and yes im gonna stay strong as we all are. word of thought for us all--- i want u all to know how proud i am of all of us. we have came a long way. proud we all took this step together, and are taking control of our lives. and of all the weight we have lost and will lose in the future. everyone say to your self im proud of me to. speaking as a much bigger person 432 now 398 yes that is what i said really im down to 394 but, wont change my tickler until monday that is my final weigh in. it is hard and some days you fall off but, you get back up and brush ya shoulders off and hold ya head up and keep it movin. im a proud 394 woman and im gone get my band. i have faced alot of things in life and i know what it is like to be the center of attention, and the looks and stares. and i give them some thing to talk about. i was a bad chick big im gone be a bad chick whem im smaller and healthier. let this motivate u, you have lost this weight if you had to, to show this dr u really want this. if that is not a huge move i dont know what is. you did it u wethered the storm, just think this time next year how more fit we will be and how much more energy we will have and best of all how better you will look now thats something to be proud of. see all ya at the finish line :thumbup::cool::thumbup:
  13. why dont you try replacing 2 meals with a proteing shake. or stick with it and cut out the snack or something. i had that problem so i started by replaceing a meal with a shake. and trying not to eat after 930 and it work alittle. i have 4 more to go and it is rough. he shar how are you feeling. meant to ask you how was the gas. i go for my final weight in 12-08 then surgery 12-15-08 at 930. im happy to be at the end almost but, im scared really. is that normal.
  14. hi all just wanted to put my 2 cents in. i joined the gym and workout 5 days a wk. i try and go on the wk. ends but, cant always go. i workout for 1.5hrs. what i do. treadmill 35-45mins spuats 15x2sets bike 5 mins eliptical 5-7mins butt machine 15x2sets thigh machine (inner & outer) 15x5sets use to do the weights stop until after surgery. before this i never excerised except the fork to my mouth. but, i must say it feels great. i look at it as my time for me, helping me get better. and im not a little person either. it was hard when i started but, i dont give up. its better now, i see those twinkies in there and i dont care im not there for them. when i started at the gym i was 432 that was a mouthful. now im 394 an proud, working my way down to a smaller and healthier women. what ever everyone has to do to drop them lbs do it. if the gym is not for you right now workout at home or where ever. any movement is good movement. im pround of the steps we all have made in getting healthier. see u all at the finish line

    good morning all, welcome kris, sweetheart181,and florida pete. glad to see the group is starting to grow. kris i think that is a great ideal, no goal to small or to big here. its what every you feel is a good goal for you. i know a few of us have more to lose than others so it think setting mini goals is a great thing as your looking and dealing with a smaller number and that really helps. we will do just fine on this, as im looking at how great we all did on the weightloss just to get surgery. together we have lost 108.8lbs and that doesn't include your weightloss kris as we dont know how much you lost yet let me kno and i will add u in. i think 108.8 and counting is a hell of a job and you all should be proud. and great job pete on the 4.4lbs additional lbs. went to my dr yesterday and according to there scale i have lost 4lbs. not changing my tickler until monday when i get on wlc's scale. also i decided that my tickler only goes down not up so if i happen to gain weight ever it will remain the same. so i kno i have to get back to the weight listed or smaller i think that really motivates me. kris where is your tickler? just wanted to let everyone know what great job there doing and say welcome to the group. and good luck with surgery in the morning pete your in my prayers. hurry back. see u at the finish line.

    ya that is strict, i think that your gonna lose more than 20lbs. doesn't it feel good to know we are starting the new year of getting healthy. and lbs lighter.
  19. hi all well every thing is all done and cleared. i went to my dr. today and got on the scale and it is saying im down 4lbs. i took a water pill of course and have been going. im so glad about that so now i have to try and get the other 4lbs gone by monday as that is my final weigh in. i did liquids and protein shakes today. then for dinner i had chicken breast and a veggie and c.lite. i feel alright except my tummy is growling like crazy.

    new years weightloss challenge

    hey pete, well so far i have been going the the gym 5 days a wk working out. and trying to not eat after 10 but some times that doesn't work. now im shooting for not eating after 9:30pm. but, if i do after never after 12am. old me use to do most of the eating beween 12am-5am. as im a nite person. also trying to become more active such as getting out more and not finding reasons to just lay down or sleep. well i dont sleep like others i have sleep ap. trying to also get on a sleep schedual. its alittle hard. but, here is my work out program im doing at the gym. treadmill 30-40 mins a day thigh machine 15x5sets each machine (inner, outer) squats 15x2sets eliptical 5mins some kind of bike not the one that sits strait up either. 5mins then butt machine 15x2sets and this is done 5 days a wk. some times on the weekend if i have time. trying to incorp. the south beach workout dvd into the mix as i would be doing this at home in the morning. and i do the r-band some times. want to do the walking outside but, to cold were i live. so the gym is where i get done. trust me this is some thing new for me as i hated exercising before now i love it. was doing the weights but, learned i gained 2lbs from that so im off that till after the band. well hope this helped you. i was 434lbs two monthes ago almost 3. now im 398 gained 2lbs of muscle. so it can be done hope this motivates you to. as a lady on here named texas beckey motivated me. she lost 301lbs in either 1.5 years or 2. after dr. told her she would do it. i know its gonna be hard but im in for the long run, not for the microwave part. see you at the finish line.
  24. later learned that i shouldn't have had the creamers so im not gonna have that tom. thanks all for the info and support. also was wondering if i could do slim fast shake and maybe add 1 scoop of protein to it. maybe do 3 or 4 a day. anyone know
  25. thanks 4 the info. started liquid diet today had a med. decaf coffee w/4 slendas n 2 creams and 1scoop protein. i feel alright noticed that im going to bathroom more. does anyone know how often you drink the drink or eat. in my case drink. i was thinking every 3hrs do a shake. and in between if i get hungry do broth or popsickle, or yogurt or pudding sf of course. and alot of c.lite is this how you do it.
