  1. hello laurel, rose, matty how is everyone doing today. me im doing good so how was everyone's weekend. how was the eating. mine was ok i could have been better or course but, im getting better.:huh2: ok question of the day what have you learned about your band so far.
  2. this is so true. im with v-queen we should be proud of how far we have come. it takes alot of guts to know your unhealthy or (fat as mean people say) and do some thing about it. yes we all want it off fast but, the trueth is slower is better as we all have time to learn how to keep it off. for those of you that have lost 1lb i want you to go to the meat market and ask to see what a lb. of fat looks like you will be so shocked its not funny. i did this when i lost 11lbs and the funny thing was i couldn't hardly carry it yet i carried it around for years. we will all get there in time. right now be proud of what you have done and where your going:thumbup:. im pround of all of us we are doing it. we own every pound we have lost and its not comin back. hell for those that gave gained weight or eat some thing that we wasn't its ok its comin off. lets remember we are just starting our and learning how to work our band. its ok as long as you get back on the ride, right now we are in the healin phase the weightloss is just a bonus. group hug everyone:thumbup:. hope everyone has a good day.
  3. hi laurel,rose,matty how is everyone doing today? me im doing good today. laurel that's a good range to be eating in. im any where between 800-1575. maybe try on your days that you excerise eating alittle more as when you work out you burn up some of those calories. honey it is very cold here and it snows alot here. i havent been to the gym for 2days if you count today. gone get back there starting monday. matty that is good that you still are not able to eat as much i wish i wasn't. how do you feel only eating one meal a day. im much bigger than all of you but, my trainer said that im not eating enough and that is why i tend to over eat at times. most of the time im around 12something calories but, can eat up to 1575 if my stomach allows it. i dont drink the shakes unless im in a rush and dont have time for nothing else. rose your doing fine keep ya head up it will come together. but, i think your doing great the weight will come off in time. right now just work on healing your self the weightloss is just a bonus least that is what my dr said. i have heard that the first 2 fills dont really count but, im hoping it will do alittle some thing:smile: lets all remember it took us some time to put the weight on its gonna take some time to get it off. but, im glad im doing the ride with you guys. see you all at the finish line:thumbup:

    b-1 french toast, 1sausages s-4oz vanilla yogurt, .5t almond nuts l-8oz scallops, 1.5oz tuna salad, wheat thins s-1c honey nut squares (cereal) dry d-1.5c spaghetti, w/sauce, ground turkey 839 calories eaten today 30oz of liquids drank today
  5. hi matty welcome to the group glad to have you. hows the weather there? well here in new york its freezing could it was -14 today. my port is not sore much but, my side still hurts up under my breast. wow everyone is getting a fill this month but, me i have to wait till 2-24-09 aint that some thing. well matty feel free to go back and read up on some of the things we have talked about so you can caugh up and fit right in with the talking:biggrin: hope you come back and talk with us for a while. well talk to everyone later
  6. thanks laurel for the encouraging words i really needed that. things will get better . i feel so much better after see both of you posted. we will all get the the end in time. we all are taking it one step at a time. what i eat today: b- 1french toast, 1sausage s-4oz vanilla yogurt, .5tsp of almond nuts, 1slenda l-8oz of scallops, w/1.5oz tuna salad, wheat thins s-24oz c-lite, s/f jello d-1.5c of spighetti w/sauce and ground turkey 839 calories eat . 30ozs of liquids drank:thumbup:
  7. hey everyone hows it going well me it think today is a hard day for me as i have been so hungry its not even funny. its funny i have been noticing that almost all people that was band in december have been having a problem. i have been reading that some people have started gaining weight. so i now feel normal again like im not the only one. i think i need a fill for real. as i have eat way to many bite size tortilla chips than i want to. well all i can do is try and do better next time. well thanks for letting me vent. now im gonna go get on the scale at the dr's so i can see if i gained any weight. i hate being fat and i hate getting on the scale. well thanks any ways.
  8. ang in there pete yes the water pill will do that to u as when i gained it was due to the water pills and the birth control pills now that im not taken either i gained some but, then i guess every thing balanced out. we are here for you. so yes i know how you feel as i was ready to give myself a fill as i felt so let down.:yikes: this week is a much better wk. and just think you get a fill next week. i still have to wait till the end of febuary. i still might need to give myself a fill:smile: and v-queen i couldn't have said it better

    carebear hang in there if it is not working maybe you should call your dr and let them know you might need to come back in and get more added. then again i hear some times it just takes time. my friend told me that she just woke up and it was working give it time. or call your dr after say maybe a wk.

    you'll be fine rose. pete have you had a fill yet. as i know only 3 people have it think. today i eat: b-1/2 chicken noodle soup, 8oz cranberryapple juice s-balance bar l-6oz chicken salad, wheat thins, 20oz c-lite s-1/2c fried Beans, scallops,wheat thins d-1/2c fried beans, 1 small country rib w/bbq sauce,8oz cranberryapple juice will have to do better tom. was very hungry after coming from the mall walking. does anyone else notice that they eat more every other day or that they can eat more.
  12. i think im gonna try it i have a free poker game on my computer. its funny that you would say that rose i went to my familys home that live in ga and girl it was so hot i left 3days early. i think after living some where for so long you get use to it.:wink: how did everyone eat today. i had 1560 calories today and i feel ok full alittle. now come tom. i wont be able to eat that much does anyone else notice that there able to eat more every other day. i recommend that ya try dailyplate.com out its cool and it helps out alot.
  13. hi rose and laurel how are ya:smile: well its cold as all here. i live in buffalo, ny we get alost of snow here. its that freezing cold here. i think i might go to the gym but, i dont know as it is just to cold for me. but, we will see. laurel get you a small note book to keep your thoughts and food in. it really helps.
  14. lucky u too. i had 904 calories today. i feel stuffed for some reason. now im wondering why my dr. has me coming back in feb.24th for my fill. this really sucks.

  16. hi laurel and rose how are ya. lucky you laurel for getting ready to have your fill i dont go until the end of next month. i was practicing playing poker it was ok gone go try it on the beginners board so i can learn. i would like to take water arobics but, its to cold right now. how much has your friend lost so far laurel.

  18. hey rose im so jealious as i cant play poker and want to learn. well did you win. well im glad that you feel better and you are back. you should be proud girl they noticed. alot of people tell me that my face is smaller but, it still looks the same to me. tell me is any one else using dailyplate to track there food. i started using it and it really helps me out i noticed that every other day im able to eat more then the day before. so i eat any where in btween 900-1500 calories a day. so its going up and down and im ok with that. as the old me was eating more than 3500 calories a day yes i said it. so its a big improvement. would like to eat maybe 1000-1200 a day but, its ok
  19. hi everyone ok i went to my dr to do my wkly weigh in and got on there scale and its saying im down 5lbs but, it was a new scale so i will go the wlc and weigh on there's as theres is the only one that counts. redmom and cali w hang in there things will get better. glad you wont give up cali but, we wont let u any ways. great job ninner . i sure hope there scale is right as last month it was a lb bigger, but then again the other one they use to have i was 4lbs bigger. so we will see. everyone keep up the good work.

    what i eat today: b- 1 cup all together cauliflower,2ts cheese sause, 3viennia sausage l-2eggs w/cheese, 4 breakfast sausage s-nothing d-1cup of low sodium chix noddle soup s-20oz cranberryapple juice 100%, 16oz c-lite calorie total before 1166 after excerising 898. update went to my dr 2day and got on there scale and it says im down 5lbs. but, gonna go to wlc and let them weigh me and use there weigh as my final weight for friday. so cross ya fingers im down.
  21. ok for the day i had eat 1166 calories after going to the gym it was down to 839 i walked 1.62miles on the treadmill today. and did 15x4sets of thigh machine. inner and outer
  22. well good evening everyone how's everyone doing. well today is tuesday and i went and got on my dr's scale today and noticed that i was on a different scale. i read that i was 5lbs lighter than last week. i'm not gonna get happy or change my tickler until friday when i go get on wlc's scale. so that way i can see if they are both right or is my dr's scale off any. so cross your fingers. i also started keeping track of calories on dailyplate.com and it really helps i will come back and post how many calories i eat today. well how was everone elses day.

    well today was abnormal as we on the road and just got back home today b-5oz d.coffee with protein in it l-mini size ravioli s-10oz c-lite d-1/2 steak and cheese sandwich mostly the inners. s-2 s/f jello's if i get hungry
  24. hey rose welcome back glad your feeling better. your good as long as you didn't gain. i know what you mean laurel my kids have me run about them. im a busy lady. so when i get to do the me time im all for it. the menu really helped me out this morning as i just looked at it and mad what it said. gone see what happens will keep ya posted.
