Had my big moment trying to play tag w my 4-ur-old granddaughter at a park. Way too quickly I was indeed and dizzy. Dawned on me that my love affair w food needed to end—and that I loved my grandkids more and wanted to be alive to see them grow up and to have an ACTIVE part in their lives. I’m 5’ 11’’ and started at almost 370 a year ago, sleeved in Aug, and am at 280 now. Love exercising and feeling good! First plane trip since weight loss coming up in a couple days! No regrets, want to lose 50 more.

62-ur old guy here. Had sleeve in August and I’m down about 85 pounds. Exercising regularly and feeling great. Decided long before surgery to share openly w fam, friends, coworkers. No regrets. I’ve received tons of support across the board.

Was sleeved on 8/23 at age 61. Lifelong struggle with weight and “comorbities” piling up. A week out, I’m feeling great, regaining strength, and down 13 pounds since surg! New life has begun!

In pre-op now. Surg at 11. Excited but a little stressed. Thanks for prayers!

Looking forward to 11 am surgery tomorrow! It’s been a long wait and I’m excited!

I'd welcome your prayers on Thursday when I have my sleeve surgery here in Colorado Springs! Like someone else said in this thread, I'm praying that the Lord scrubs in with my surgeon and has His hand on this whole journey!

I'm scheduled for gastric sleeve this Thursday, the 23rd. Starting to get a little freaked out, but excited at the same time.
