You'll do great. I was first case today. So far so good. Minimal discomfort, lots of gas pains. Can't wait to drink tomorrow. I'll be praying that the Lord keeps you safe during your procedure. Xo Tina

@ Elle.....I am also the 13th. 2 week preop diet is not too bad now that I am a week into it. Not looking forward to my weekend liquid diet. What state are you in?

You are so right. Yes....I can eat meat. Its low carb to shrink liver. I'll be on full liquids 2 days before. I can't wait til it's all over!! The hardest thing was stopping drinking diet coke 10 weeks ago. Thanks for your support!!!

Hey everyone. I am 5 days into my preop diet, and quickly becoming sick of everything. I have been making keto recipes for dinner with 1-2 carbs per serving, One protein shake per day (19 g of carbs) and only other carbs are in small amount so cheese or dressing. I was just told no sugar, and low carb. No fat limit. Looks like from reading on here every surgeon is different. I struggle most at work. I am a nurse and tend to get more hungry at work. A couple questions..... What is everyone using for protein shakes? I have been using GNC lean protein shakes (25 g per serv) Were you given a max carb limit? Drop some recipes in a reply you may have had and are yummy:)

Hey ! This is Tina from NH. I have a surgery date of August 13th!! When is yours. Starting to get very nervous. This preop diet is awful. I am so sick of lettuce and meat.

My surgery is August 13th as well!! How is your preop diet going? It sucks big time. Having less cravings though. Trying to stay less than 40 carbs per day and sugar free.
