Question, I am 6 days out too, I do have pain on my left side still, is that normal do you think. It’s the same pain I had after surgery (sleeve) it is less pain everyday but just still there. I could not go to work if I had too today. I also had to take milk magnesium and a stool softener, so it could just be gas and bowel related. So just checking out there. A little nervous. Other then that just trying to get all the liquid in I can! -

My surgery was 8-7, do you feel left side pain still? I feel I did well walked the night of surgery as well. I am still have pain on left side, nothing unbearable or intense, just pain. I still take pain meds, one in afternoon and one around bedtime. How about you? -

@Dianne737 had my sleeve Tuesday, left side sore and still have the gas. Other then that good. Putting this out there maybe tmi, anyone have bowel movement, I have not, is this normal?

Just got home my sleeve was done Tuesday, other then the gas pain and nausea, everything went well. Still on liquid.

Hi everyone, I am wondering how often or the percentage of people who have bowel issues after gastric bypass? My surgery is scheduled for this Tuesday but that is a big concern that is making me re think. Please help with any advise. -
Question, by getting the sleeve, does that help with fatty liver, cholesterol, and high blood pressure?

Hi guys, I am getting my surgery this Tuesday unless I chicken out, the gastric bypass. One of my biggest concerns is the bathroom issues. How many have bowel issues after surgery, even a year out, the idea of my intestines having a blockage scare me too. I had a friend 10 years after her surgery have that happen, is that because of gastric bypass? Any advice would help or information. Thanks again -

Choosing between bypass and sleeve

My surgery is Tuesday the 11th,, I am still undecided, I am signed up for bypass. I initially went in for sleeve, doctor felt long term weight loss, keeping it off, the bypass would be best. He also said this procedure (bypass) was around longer then the sleeve, I have some auto immune issues. So I would like any advice there is. Thanks I am 233lb would like to be 135-150,, -

@Jbyerly101 Thanks for getting back, I see you had your surgery, how did it go. I have been reading on muscle mass after surgery, have you heard anything on this site how that goes? I am new to this site so just learning how to respond and ask questions. -
