Real Life Sex Educator Here---Feel Free to Ask Questions!
Lilmama22 replied to cattoy71's topic in The Gals' Room
Ok this may seem weird...but I am a little weird so here it goes. How do you really know the difference in the feeling? What I mean is I have heard that the G spot orgasm makes you feel like you have to pee, so how do you know if really have to pee or if it is the orgasm? Since I have lost weight I have had that feeling and it has been a good one but distracting because I don't know if it is good thing or a icky thing. Any details would be helpful :smile2: Oh and the shot for the G spot I heard was like Botox for the G spot. IDK -
Hello all, My name is Melissa and I am scheduled to be banded the 15th. Yes tomorrow. Yeah me. Anyway I was just reading some of the new post today on this board and I came across one that shook me a little. Needless to say it caused me to come running (well not running more like my normal slow stroll). The post was on hair loss. Several women reported that they have lost a third of there hair since being banded. I know the make up is a little different for us so I wanted to see if any of ya'll had come across this since being banded. Some women even said it was coming out in clumps.:smile2:

What hair products are good to use on Remi? Has anyone tried the lace weave system?

So excited....one step closer!

My Doc is different from most, I think. Since getting off the mushies I have been on strickly protein. I think I will be on that for 4-6. Which isn't so bad because I am a meat person. I will have my first fill on the 22nd which I just realized is next week. Wow! -
Do you have a secret crush?

Yeah!!!! Believe me the time will fly by so fast. Congrats -
Hello all, I am new to this so sorry in advance. I just got my date last week and although I have been anxiously waiting for this I think I am getting nervous. As I read about the pre-op and post-op liquid diet.... That is what makes me nervous. I don't think I will have a problem eating healthy after all this liquid stuff. I was just reading some post and one of them referred to the shakes as liquid poop. EEEEWW! Is anyone else having a case of the nervous nelly's? Mrs G:scared2:

Hello all just checking in to see how ya'll are doing. How is the post surgery diet going for all. Am I the only one that still seems to be filled with enough gas to take out a small town? ROFL

Hello all I have a touched question. I was banded on July 15th and had not had a visit from my SPECIAL friend since then. Well she visited me last week because she thought I missed her. The problem I had with her this month and I had not considered before is the sweet tooth she always brings with her. What if anything are ya'll eating or doing to get past the sweet tooth monster?

I am SOOO depressed
Lilmama22 replied to skinnyoneday's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I read on another post last week where that was happening to someone. That person posted they started adding a little more protein to each meal. For example if she was having eggs she would add cheese. It was a long post but I will see if I can find it and let you know. -
Another new one...from Illinois
Lilmama22 replied to illinoishusker's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Hello all ya'll Illinois folk. I am in Plainfield and had my surgery performed by Dr Joyce on July 15th. There are more people from IL than I thought. Last I checked it appeared all the post for IL were old. To those who used or are going to use Dr Joyce why did you chose him? -
How much have you lost July Butterfllies??
Lilmama22 replied to lotzasunshine's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Hey all I haven't posted in forvever but I'm back! LOL. I have lost a total of 34lbs. That is going back to before the pre-op diet, which is where I lost most of my weight. -
I know this has probably been answered a million times before but.... Why do the docs recommend mushies? What is the difference if you eat reg food and chew it a billion times? How long are most people having to stay on mushies? I am doing the mushies and finding it hard to eat all my food because I recon I eat based on the appearance of the food. So after eating about half of my little portion I get bored. Does any one have any insight into any of this.:scared2:

Penturn I am pretty weak too. I usually get tired after walking a short distance and I have to sit and rest for a minute. I have been reading probably more post now to see if people have experience what I am feeling than I ever did before surgery. Don't get to down on things keep in mind this was your first step to a new healthier you. Feel free to send me a private message and we can exchange email addresses. You may also want to contact the Person who did your psych eval. I know mine told me to give her a call if ever I needed anything. Hope to hear from you soon.

Any problems with eating post-op?
Lilmama22 replied to TravelLady48's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
As previously stated I think every doc is different. My Doc has me on Mushies for 2 weeks and I think (going on old timers memory) I will be doing just protien for awhile after that no veggies. Which is cool with me I'm a big meat eater. The coffee tea thing...after surgery they brought in some decaf tea with my delicious meal. so I would say for my Doc decaf tea is cool but coffee they wanted me to wait a couple of weeks even then decaf only. -
Rough is a under statement. Do I have to do a 5K to get rid of all of this gas? I knew I would have some discomfort but call me nieve (sp). I had 3 children I figured it couldn't be much worse than that SILLY me!!! What are ya'll going through and what else can I do to ease the discomfort?

Good luck 15th'rs! I hope to hear from all of you tomorrow with wonderful updates! You are all in my prayers.

Thank you all for the info. I think I will have my daughter pick me up some Biotin pills and maybe a bag and 1/2 of hair just to be pro-active! LOL. Thanks again and please keep me in your prayers as today is my special day.

I'm sorry I directed the what time question to just Pen that question goes out to all my fellow 15th buddies. What is everyone doing tonight? Cleaning, worrying, packing? Me I recon I will pack my couple of items. But I'm like a kid @ Christmas I probably won't be able to sleep much tonite so I will probably be playing on the computer.

Thank you. I can't say the thought of losing my hair ever occured to me. I mean it isn't going to stop me though. I guess it is nothing a good weave can't cure huh

One of my favorites would have to be Isley Bros. In between the sheets.

I'm sorry I haven't been on in awhile. I am drinking Atkins shakes. The doc said I could try some of the shakes you mix but they had to meet a certain specifications. I used to do slim fast powder skaes ALONG time ago and they aleays tasted chalky so I figured pre-mixed was for me. Pen what time are you scheduled for surgery tomorrow? Hospital just called and moved me up from 3 til 12. I feel like I have finally reached the top of a big rollercoaster. I recon tomorrow wil be me WEEEEEEEEEE day I guess.

Wow is it just me or is the 15th coming pretty quick? I have been on a diet of two protein shakes and one meal (4oz protein 1/2 cup veg)for 10 days now. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be. Doc recomended Atkins shakes and they are actually pretty good. How long do your docs have you on the mushies after surg? Mine has me on them for two weeks. I see alot of cottage cheese meals in my future.
