I had the RNY on the 18th and I've only had one piece of a bm. I had tried milk of mag but it's so nasty I couldn't keep it down. The Dr. told me to take stool softeners and mineral oil also a fleet enema and still only a little came out. I was starting to think that they caused a blockage. Thank you so much for your help! I will be going to those stores tomorrow! And another question how do keep things in my pouch if everything I drink is liquid form? -

Hello, I am a 30 year old nursing student who recently had gastric bypass surgery on 7/18/18. I am still in phase one but I've already lost 15pounds and I am very scared, confused, and excited all at the same time. I am ready to be the fit and healthy nurse that I know that I can be. I will appreciate all of the help and tips that you can give to me. Thank you in advance

I am in phase 1 of RNY surgery (7/18/18). I have been trying to fit everything in including my vitamins, full liquids and walking. Every sip I take it seems like I'm gonna bust like it's not moving anywhere. Also the premier shakes are bad for me because I'm lactose intolerant. This is really tuff and I'm not even a full week in, whichI knew that it was gonna be, but how do I stay on schedule with meds, fluid and protein without feeling like my stomach is gonna bust.
