Thank you ! I think I can have coffee in about 6 weeks. I can have decaf now but I want the good stuff lol. No worries we will be back to coffee soon enough. I’m able to lay in bed with lots of pillows. I’m going to try crystal lite packs next week.

I’m on day 2 post op (sleeved 8/6) 1 & a half days in the hospital, I’m home now. Yesterday I could do everything for myself I even passed some gas ( gas pain is no joke). Today I woke up on my own little pain and no assistance from anyone. I think it’s a mental thing. I also think it’s going to depend on how you’re feeling after surgery if you need more assistance at home. The day of surgery I was soooooo weak but today I feel fine. A little gas pain and little stomach pain but other then that I’m doing fine for myself. I’m not about to drink much. Hot fluids are better for me than cold fluids. Either way I want to down a cold cup of water, in due time!

Yay I’m so happy you are my sleeve twin! I have been focusing on drinking as much as I can. Unfortunately that’s about 2oz an hour. My vitamins right now are only one every 2/3 hours. No bm for me yet but I can feel it. My stomach pain are only where the stomach was removed. Did you have to take something to poop?

I’m on day 2 post and honestly I’m planning on driving myself later. I feel fine! Other then a little gas pains here and there I’m doing everything on my own.

My surgeon had over 38 years of experience! That was my number one reason for picking him. I made the right decision!

Cold drinks worsens my gas pain but helps my dry mouth. Hot drinks helps me pass gas.

Hello all, I’m knew to the group( hey y’all)! I have a surgery date of August 6. I’m excited but now I’m really nervous being that I’m less than two weeks out. So many things are in my head but tonight I got to thinking about how different my cycle maybe, currently have a cycle every 21 days and over the course of 13 years after many children (4), my cycle have went from three days minimal bleeding no cramping too many days sometimes more than seven. lots of cramps. lots of side effects. So now I’m really concerned that having gastric sleeve is going to change my cycle for the worse. Any of you ladies have complications with your cycle after surgery? Thanks in advance, An excited, impatient, nervous soon to be sleever!

Hey guys, I'm feeling great! After I was feeling really well. Actually, the worst part is the gas pain but not as bad as I thought. Anesthesia had me for a minute, I'm feeling up and ready to start my new journey!

Tomorrow is my big day, as excited as I am, I'm so nervous that things are not going to go so well. Everything that I can think of negatively has been thought of. I now have doubts and an ongoing headache that's only getting worse. I'm starting to rethink my decision to have this surgery. I rushed this process and now I'm doubting every step I've ever made!
