Dr Dietrick is my doctor and I just love him and his office. He was not my surgeon but took me on as a transfer patient in need of lap band fills. -
Sure did. I went from 220Lbs down to 96lbs. I’m currently at 108 and holding. Btw I’m only 4’11

I currently have 3.5ccs in a 10cc band. I was up to 7ccs at one time but lost a little too much weight so we removed quite a bit and I’ve been sitting at the 3.5ccs for 2 yrs now. Minimal weight gain but mostly my own foolish eating habits. I’ve been banded for 12 yrs now with zero problems.

It’s perfectly normal for the port to settle lower than the incision. I’m 12 yrs post op and mine is about half an inch lower than the incision. Mine also slightly rotated, no big deal they just have to press a little firmer and hold it in place for a fill.

Hello there! I too have been banded for 12 yrs. I’ve lost and maintained a 120lb weight loss. I’m extremely happy with my decision and it’s getting harder to find long term banded people out there. SW 220 LW 100 CW 109

I haven’t had GERD since before surgery. The problem with tomatoes is the skin and texture. Those two combined make it impossible to pass through my band. -

I have very few problems with any food. My number one nemesis is tomatoes. Haven’t been able to eat them since surgery. Other than that everything works just fine. I have a 10cc band with 5.5 ccs currently in it. I still stay away from “slider foods” and I’m not big on sweets so that’s never been an issue. I have zero problems with any sort of proteins or vegetables. (Minus tomatoes) all fruit is fine with me as well. I still have to chew carefully and I’m always the last to finish a meal but that’s fine with me. -

Finalllly someone else in the same position as me. I’m 12 yrs out and still thrilled with my device and maintaining my weight. Best decision for myself. Congrats -

Lap Band Fill in Central Florida

I use Dr Dietrick in Tampa. He’s amazing, I was banded 12 yrs ago in Washington State and I have moved many times since. Dr Dietrick was not my surgeon but still accepted me into his practice. Highly recommend!!
