OK, my concerned friends... called the doc, and he has ordered the meds. he is going to call us back if he is able to get ahold of the treatment tonite. otherwise, he said it will likely be in the morning. my hubby has taken tomorrow off of work and he is going to the daycare at the butt crack of dawn, and he is going to shakedown the area(and since he used to work in a prison, and was especially good at searching for "stuff", i am hopeful that he will find something, if there is something to find) i did not press the daycare girl too much, as she is a young girl that just helps out during the pick up time. she was locking up and everyone was gone. i wish i would have had the presence of mind to ask for the owner/director's phone number at home. well, the doc said we are going to start the vaccinations tomorrow as a precaution. we must determine if there is a rabid bat at the daycare in order to determine whether there was more than one exposure. i hate that my baby is going to have get those shots, she will surely be traumatized. but i just cannot stomach the thought of taking a chance with her life. and myra, i have noticed the news reports about the rabies cases in Houston. those reports are the reason why i thought of a bat. i likely would have dismissed her as having a vivid imagination if not for those reports. and harley girl, i entertained the idea that this may be a baby bird, but she told us that it had a mouth, and not a beak.(we were comparing to our parakeet, she also later said that the bird had ears...i asked her "like herman's ears?" herman is the parakeet...she said no, silly, herman doesnt have ears. so i guess everyone sees my concern. the doc said if we are going to err, it is going to be on the side of caution.

((we regret to inform you that mini_me is temporarily incapacitated at this time. She was found crouched in the corner of her cubicle under the desktop, rocking back in forth, before falling in the fetal position, and drooling. She continuously mumbled about her horrid encounter with the devil. She has been placed in a straight jacket indefinitely)) at least til i have time to drive home...winks

::::::>>>turns her hose and sprays the devil frantically in the face.....and runs off screaming and crying like an oversensitive b*tch.

i felt nothing with my first fill of 1.3cc's. in fact, i called to schedule my next fill less than two weeks after the first fill...of course, they did not have an opening that soon, but i was in the office for my next fill just shy of 4 weeks from the first fill, and almost half of my first fill had done that "first fill disappearing act." They pulled the first fill completely out and replaced it with 1.8cc/4cc band. I could kinda tell a difference immediately in that i could not comfortably gulp my Water...it was like my body was scared to swallow, and my throat would not open and allow the water to be swallowed for a second or two. One week from the second fill, i felt restriction. i would say that i have mild restriction right now, but it is enough for me to recognize when I have had enough to eat, and i am able to stop. i am going again on june 19 for a tiny addition to my current fill, as i think i need a little extra help...just a lil bit. well, good luck to you, and to anyone else reading out there!

hang in there...i did, and now i have 3 more lost pounds to show for it. i know the scales will stall again, but i am ok with that. the pounds that i have lost, are not being regained. i am confident about that. weight must be lost a pound at a time, and i am ready for a long journey! good luck to you!

Call Dr. Spivak, you have paid him to help you through this. He can answer any questions about what is happening, and he can give you guidance and direction for your healing. I, too, used Dr. Spivak, and while i had not problems such as you are speaking of, i really cant offer any advice. I can tell you that on the times that I felt it was necessary to call upon the good doctor, he was more than kind and ever so willing to help me. good luck and take care of yourself!

This morning when I tied my shoes, it was like any other day, right? WRONG...as I was getting in my truck, I noticed that the bow was on the TOP of the shoe, instead of the side of the shoe. ((PHAT GIRLS KNOW WHAT I'M TALKIN' BOUT!!)) This is my first NSV, and since my loss has been painfully slow, this is especially sweet!!:clap2:

We have actually had several FUN threads today that have kept me in stitches. funny threads: vines-help me name my tumor delarla-kitty litter delarla-kitty whiskers? i think it was called that... hmmm, those jump off the top of my head.

well, most of mine are slip ons, my chuckas stay untied most of the time, i just cleverly loosen the strings, and wear them like slip ons, and noone notices. My tennis are being worn today...with perfect purty bows right on top!!
