  1. I am one year out, as of 8/27/2018. My weight loss goes like this: Note: you can see where my frustration is..... 10 pounds lost in 6months. I'm depressed. 8/27/2018 - 311 pounds 9/27/2018- 277 pounds 10/22/2018- 263 pounds 11/20/2018- 250 pounds 03/04/2018- 224 pounds 08/27/2019- 214 pounds
  2. 9 Months out here. Have been the SAME weight since.... March. This stinks. I work out, some days I probably only drink 2-3 bottles of water (Maybe an issue) I eat a lot of protein. Which, in the end kinda depresses me because I think, AM I DONE LOOSING WEIGHT?
  3. Hello- I'm 4 months out RNY. I feel like a failure. I try to talk to my NUT but she isn't helpful. I'm not sure what to do. Hopefully there is someone here that will read this post and help me. I have not lost a single pound in over a month and a half. I'm not sure that I'm doing things right. Can someone show me a sample of their daily plan that includes 1000 calories? I'm starting to wonder if that's why I'm not losing weight, because I'm not eating even close to 500-600 calories. It's hard. A lot of things make me sick.... or I forget to eat because I'm busy 24/7.

    Weight Loss Stall

I'm 4 months out. I haven't lost an OUNCE in over a month. WHAT am I doing wrong? I finally started eating better. I'm meeting protein goals, I'm working out 30-min to an hour each day, (Before, I was barely eating, no protein, only water) and nothing. Is this normal?
  5. My Nut is only giving me the basics, cottage cheese, cheese sticks, soups, protein shakes. Does anyone have any RECIPES? Or can someone direct me to a great site with them? I want some fun, interesting stuff. Not just boring "bowls of cottage cheese".
  6. I'm 6 weeks out. I'm having no issues getting water in, but eating is a whole other story. I'm really struggling. I'm lucky if I eat one small Okios 15g protein yogurt a day. I have tried new foods, but 95% of things tend to cause pain in my stomach area, and then about 10 minutes later, I'm vomiting. I'm almost scared to even eat anymore. Does anyone have suggestions for me? Do you all use Genepro or Isopure? Yogurt and Potatoes are really the only thing my stomach likes. I'm getting scared because I know my body is not getting enough nutrients.

    VITAMINS!!!!

Can someone be kind enough and share pictures of their daily vitamin packages? I have to start taking mine soon (I'm 3 weeks out, was told to start at 4 weeks) and I have a list of about 7-8. I'm wondering if there's something simple I can get rather than buying 7 bottles of each vitamin. Thank you!

3 Weeks Post Op. NEED HELP!!

I'm surprised my doctor didn't mention taking fiber. I will have to see if I can take those I suppose.

3 Weeks Post Op. NEED HELP!!

Hi Matt. Thanks for the input. I drink 7 bottles of water a day which puts me at roughly 113 oz. I picked up some colace and doculax like my doctor said. I'm just still concerned about the movement. They aren't taking it as a big deal. I haven't taken any pain meds since I left the hospital either.
  11. Hi everyone, I am 3 weeks post-op. I have only gone to the bathroom twice since then and it's been very small bowel movements. What can I take to help me use the bathroom? Also, I get very tired after walks in the park. More than I did before surgery. Is this normal?

    New here and very nervous...

I chose bypass because I wanted to lose the most weight without having to go back in. No other health issues besides being over weight.
  14. Hi everyone! A little history on me.. I'm 33 years old, married with 5 children. I have ALWAYS been overweight. I have no other current medical issues and I'm scheduled for the Bypass August 27th. I'm nervous. I've never been put to sleep before...I'm hearing all kinds of horror stories about people passing out, getting tube feedings, etc. IT SCARES ME! I often think about my 5 babies and wondering if I'll even make it out of surgery okay... this is normal right? I just want to be HAPPY. Being big it's hard to keep up anymore, hard to find cute clothes... etc. I'm ready for CHANGE!
