Good for you. I’ve got to ramp up my exercising a bit. Right now I’m just walking. Have been exhausted. Sounds like you’re doing so well.....very happy for you. Keep in touch!

Yeah. I was hoping to have lost more but I’ll take it. I too am going to therapy. One day at a time..what kind of exercising are you doing? Do you still get pains in your belly? Last night I had bad pains deep inside my belly. I’m sure everything is working on healing.

Glad to hear you’re back on track. I, too, have battled with the depression and second guessing but it’s just something I have to work on daily. Reminding myself why I had the surgery, how poor my health was, etc. I too am eating lots of soft chicken, meats, and other soft foods. Haven’t really tasted too many veges-a little nervous they won’t agree with my stomach. I’m working on exercising more. But I’m losing. About 2lbs a week. Glad to hear you’re doing well....keep in touch!

I am also six weeks out, almost 7. What are you eating? Seems like everything I eat my stomach hurts. Nausea, headaches. Etc. Hi there. I am mainly eating chicken and fish. I ,too get nauseous and my stomach hurts after eating. Not so much headaches.

Just turned 46, getting sleeved tomorrow. Part of me wishes I had done this sooner. Looking forward to the new and healthy me! Best of luck to you tomorrow! Keep us posted.

Congratulations on taking this journey. I agree that I would not have been mentally ready a few years ago for this surgery either. Now is when it was supposed to happen.

Hi there. Six weeks post op (sleeved) and haven’t had my period in two months. I’m very regular normally. Not sexually active. Will speak with my MD about it next visit.

Hi there. I feel your pain. I haven’t had a period since I was sleeved on July. I’m very moody and get depressed. My weight loss has been slow as well. Hang in there.

Thank you. Yes. It was a challenge but I overcame it. Thankfully. That’s the way to look at it-that we will be able to be appreciate fine foods in moderation and in smaller portions. All the best to you as well.
