Food Before and After Photos
SingingEagle replied to GreenTealael's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Yes that is 1 cup. Cream of Chicken Soup 2 x 20 oz can , 6 powder chicken gravy , 20 oz water and 3 lbs chicken breast in the crock pot. When it’s done you shred the chicken and add soup cream 16 oz. 6 to 8 hours on high. You can cut this down if you need to only cook a small amount. -

So I always just look at everyone’s yummy foods. I never post because I am just so basic LOL and a creature of habit and meal prep for the most part. But today I thought what the heck I will let you see my mundane food lunch I did not photograph. It was chicken casserole. I always use a small dessert plate and one of the pics shows a napkin beside it so you can see it’s not as big as it looks. -

Any August Sleevers out there?
SingingEagle replied to sandygs's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
August 29th I was sleeved and I am down 23 pounds since surgery. I follow all of the rules. People with more to lose will lose it faster. So chin up we are doing great. Forward progress is just that it’s progress. I ask myself when is the last time I weight what I weigh today. That’s right I can’t remember and when is the last time any diet help me go down 23 pounds in 10 weeks....oh that’s right NEVER! So who cares if it takes us a few more months than others to get to goal. The point is we will get there! Hope this helps you and let’s you know that you are not alone -
My nut told me that if you are following the plan and you hit a stall to just keep going. She said they are expected and the weight loss will be like going down steps not sliding down a slide. She also said if you are in a stall and see a small gain not to panic.. she said if you are getting all your protein your body is building muscle not fat. Then the numbers will start going down again.

40 something sleevers?
SingingEagle replied to Letsgetgoing2018's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
40 and sleeved on 8/29/18 I decided when I started this journey to not look back and say I should have done this sooner. Just because for me I believe everything happens when it’s suppose to and thinking about all the should haves and could haves would probably just make me feel bad. -
