Put your foods in a blender and puree it, then eat slowly. Just make sure it is pureed. -
Thank You All! / When was your VSG Date
AggiG replied to InterceptorNYC's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I had my VSG December 11, 2018. I didn't experience any gas pains and didn't have any complications. 11 months out and have lost 116 pounds with 18 pounds to go to hit my final goal. -
Just wondering if you are drinking chocolate protein drinks? I have darker than usual stools if I drink a lot of chocolate protein drinks. If it continues I would bring it up to your surgeon.

My husband is on board with plastic surgery as long as our insurance will cover it. I'm hoping to have it by next summer. I am 11 months post-surgery and have lost 116 lbs and want to lose 18 more pounds.

I use MyFitnessPal but am going to check out CRON-O-METER.

One of my reasons, but my health was the biggest reason. -
Thank you, Kathy.

You are not supposed to drink carbonated drinks ever again.

I love your positive attitude, David. I know that I have become more positive and have a better attitude towards life. I will always be so grateful for this surgery and will not abuse it at any cost. The one in the green shirt was taken quite a few months ago.

WOW, you look amazing!!!
-
First and foremost talk to your surgeon, second I never stopped taking mine.

Walk as much as you can, plus I have heard that heat may help.

In my opinion, you will not lose the "OLD" you, but you will gain a better you. I am still the same person that my morbid obese me was, but better. I feel better, I move much better, I can do things with my family (and not have to stop and catch my breath), and I am now running, which I had a hard time just walking. Relax and take a deep breath. You will be very happy that you had this surgery. God bless you on your journey.

My before surgery picture and 10 months after surgery. I have last 106 pounds.

Well number 1) that is what health insurance is for and CEO or not, they can not tell you how to use your insurance. Sorry that was the one that stuck out from your list. Hope you are feeling well. -

I still have a hard time slowing down but I do chew, chew, chew. -
You might want to call your surgeon and let them know what is going on and find out if this is normal or should you be concerned. Praying it isn't anything.
-
Do you guys feel normal? Long Term Sleevers
