Maybe I'll drive them to you. My brother lives in Suffolk, VA and we've been talking about taking a trip....that's b4 gas prices shot up. I think these bars are YUCKO (is that a word?) so I wouldn't recommend them unless you already know you like them. BTW, I will mail them to anyone. I have over 500+ feedbacks on E-Bay so shipping is old hat to me.

Oh Jessie, that is too bad about the owner. :phanvan Aren't you thankful to have a choice though? I have been in jobs were I have had to take a lot of crap b/c I supported myself for a long time. Johnny Paycheck sings a song that comes to mind.........something about shove it. :heh:

UPDATE....I discoverd the real reason my husband thought I spent too much time on LBT. :phanvan I finally asked him why he doesn't spend much time on the computer anymore. Understand, we have his & hers computers. He said b/c your always down there and I want to give you time away from the kids. He was giving me peace & quiet and allowing me "mommy time". We now understand each other. :biggrin1: I get still get some alone time on the computer, then he will come down with the kids. We have a finished basement, so we'll put in a movie or something. Marriage is a wonderful gift, but communication is the key.

I am shooting for a 100 lb weight loss. It seems overwhelming to put down such a big number, but I intend to "plan the work and work the plan". I'll get there one pound at at time and would consider myself successful even if it took me 1.5 - 2 yrs to do it. This is major and takes major changes in my head more than my body. I thank the Lord everyday for LBT!!! I can relate to you Scout....I look forward to the day I can put my real weight on my drivers license. My husband has looked at mine b4 and I would just DIE if he ever knew how much I really weighed at this point in time. I protect that number with my life. The video is awesome!! I would send it to any loved ones or friends that is interested in the process. A lot of people don't understand what this surgery really entails. My mom thought I would wear a band around the outside of my waist. God bless her. She now knows better.

Oh no....how terrible!! It's not on Nascar.com yet. I just can't imagine what their family is going through. It's such a fun thing to go to the track and this is the last thing you would expect. :cry I'll be watching for more info on it. BTW, my mom sent me an e-mail last week and I saved a special gift for you. I just knew you would love it. Just right click on the pic and save it to your hard drive. DISCLAIMER*PLEASE NOTE* I am no way affiliated with this driver.....GO SMOKE!!

Ooo....Oooo....how about some Amish panties? We live very close to Amish country and you have tempted me to shop for Amish underwear. I bet they're homemade and last longer than the kind we usually buy. Don't be surprised if you get a package from IN.

:wow2: It's great to see so many getting their band in May. This is a great group. We have a lot to share and learn from each other. And how about those May bdays to boot? I can't think of a better bday present. :biggrin1: I wish everyone the best and look forward to getting to know all of you better. :clap2:

Oh my goodness....your daughter is so precious!! Lovely petunias too!! Dragonwillow ~ Could your ground cover be creeping phlox? Mine is starting to bloom. They tend to creep, hence the name.
-
Thank You....you are so sweet!! Have you joined the May thread yet? I just added my name.
-
Hey, I'm joining this group!! I wanted to earlier, but wanted to wait on a solid date. I will be banded May 26th at noon!! My bday is the 31st, so I was hoping to be banded b4 that date. Looks like a lot of you are in the beginning of May.....guess I'll be one of the bandsters to bring up the rear!! This is a great group and I'm proud to be part of it!!! Is there anyone else with a bday in May?
-
I got my date today....I will be banded on May 26th at noon. :clap2: I wanted it sooner, but I can't get in for the pre-op testing until May 18th b/c they are booked solid. After some thought, this is just perfect b/c it falls on the Memorial Day holiday and my husband will be home with me for 3 fulls days b4 returning to work. I'm off to join the May Crew thread!!! This is real....it's really going to happen!!!

DeAnn ~ Sorry I missed this info on your father. I don't know what's going on, but I will lift him up in prayer....and the rest of your family too. This must be so hard on your mom. Take care and keep us posted on his progress. Praise the Lord we made it to church for the AM & PM service. Things went smooth as silk. Thanks for your prayers.

LMBO :pound:At least I can say my pee is clear most of the time (except after my vitamins), but my poop has never floated. I believe what you say b/c you seem to be very intelligent, but this struck me as funny.

The baby shrub showed his temper after being spun out by Mears I think....can't remember for sure. They called a red flag b/c of another wreck at the same time that blocked the track. Everyone was supposed to stop ASAP. Busch pulled up along whoever spun him and gave him a bump. After he got back on the track, they pulled him in for the penalty. I think it had more to do with the safety of the red flag than the bump. Yeah, Jr felt bad. I respect him for being a man and saying what he did. That's true integrity!! How did your brother do on the dirt track? Too bad you can't take a mini tv. Tough call....Jr or Bro? Blood is thicker than water any day.

This is another one that should go on the cover of a magazine. Unbelievable!!! BTW, your babies are so cute. They look like poms to me. What are their names? You can PM so I don't hi-jack....sorry.

I am preband, but my husband developed an infection after his hernia surgery....looks a little like his. Also, as a mother, I would say it looks like some infection. I would use hydrogen peroxide followed by some neosporin. IMO your not over reacting. It looks to me like something that can be taken care of fairly easily. Maybe some antibiotics are in order. Ask your doc and good luck. Keep us posted and keep your chin up!!

Leatha ~ That is so gorgeous!! Keep the pics coming...I can't get too many. Dragonwillow ~ Impatients love the shade. Have you tried them? They are so pretty and seem to be hardy. Mvpo8961 ~ You made my mouth drop!! How beautiful!! I am in love with that HUGE butterfly bush. That looks like the same variety I planted last year. It will be awhile b4 mine is that big. DevilMayKare ~ I guess it will be trial and error with the clematis. Anyone else have any experience with clematis?
-
I am so sorry to hear about the accident. :cry It sounds like it could have been much worse. I was going to respond with something my husband says....I guess you can keep it for next year: If you rub my back, I'll rub your front!

I don't know who is cuter? Well, as a mother, I would vote for your son first. BTW, I told my mom about your bunnies and she told my brother (they are in OH) that he should get my neice a bunny for Easter b/c we used to do that when we were younger. My parents had experience with rabbits so they were always well taken care of....not a holiday gift that got pushed aside (I'm a little sensitive about animals as gifts). Anyway, she now has 2 Creme D'Argent bunnies that she is going to show in 4-H. In a way, you are indirectly responsible for the wonderful things my little neice has to look forward to. I'm a new aunt to Jack & Angel!! :biggrin1: Thanks for the inspiration!! :clap2:

Since we're talking urine....why does urine turn bright yellow after taking vitamins? Is this good, bad, or indifferent? I have always wondered. Sorry if this is hi-jacking. :cry

How adorable!! If they would just stay that cute or not grow spurs. I've been flogged enough in my time!! Stupid rooster used to chase us kids.

DevilMayKare ~ You have such a gift!! It's not easy planting some things from seeds. I've always loved larkspur and liatris and don't have either one. I did get a butterfly bush in the ground last year so I'm hoping it will do something this year. Do you have any experience with clematis? I have a double clematis that was already here and it's done well, but I can't seem to get it to start by my mailbox. Any suggestions on growing it from a small plant? BTW, we have approx 1.5 acres in NE IN. It takes my husband over 4 hrs to mow & trim. I do most of the flower beds and he does the yard. You should have seen me squeezing 30 bags of mulch in the van last year with 2 toddlers. Dragonwillow ~ How beautiful!! You did a super job!! I've always wanted one of those, but haven't had the time or resources. Good luck on the ground cover. I don't have any experience in that....maybe someone on here can offer some advice. Sounds like DevilMayKare is pretty savvy.

He does help out sometimes, but he usually gives me a break from the kids and takes care of them after he gets home. I can't tell you the last time I gave them a bath. He is a wonderful man and he would have never said anything if I hadn't asked. I'm glad he did though b/c I don't want him to hold things in like that. I want to make him happy. He is the farthest thing from controlling. He knows that doesn't work with me. I'm way too independent. He does support be being on here since he will be getting the band too. We are learning together. I tell him what I learn at LBT. I'll just have to dig deeper to find the real reason he feels like that way. With that said, we did have a fun exchange last night: DH: Are you going to wash my shirt for church? 3L: When I get done with my LBT site (I was in the chair and not near the computer...just sarcastic humor) DH: I'll throw that computer out. 3L: I DARE you! DH: Don't dare me, I'll do it. 3L: Would you rather be right or be happy? DH: Right....wait, I want to be happy. CASE CLOSED!! None of this was serious....we do have a fun relationship and enjoy the exchange. Keeps us on our toes. Boy, I do love this man!! :biggrin1:

Oh my goodness....I love this thread. I will attach a few pics of our house. I have more to do than I can handle. The people we bought this house from spent all their time outside. We spend a good bit and I'm trying to teach the boys about gardening. I grew up gardening and thought I was being tortured. Now I'm going to teach my children. Here's a few pics. The flower gardens goes completely around the house. If the front we have 2 hydrangeas. They bloom in light blue most of the time. Front Yard Back Yard Tree - Does anyone know the name of this tree? It's the same one if the front yard pic taken in the fall. This pic was taken today. I LOVE Jerry Baker. Has anyone NOT heard of him? If not, he is awesome. You can go to www.jerrybaker.com. I have a couple of his books and get his online monthly newsletter. He is a lifesaver when it comes to the outdoors.
