Great info, I’ll take my multivitamin with my iron and my calcium and d3 separate then. I’ll look into patches with my program and I’ll see about the pills if I go that route.
-
The patches sound great. I will definitely look into that at my next round of vitamins.

Bariatric stomach abdominal binder search amazon but some people said their hospitals gave it to them. I ordered one and it didn’t fit right so I sent it back.

Thanks for the advice. The NUT didn’t tell me that.

That doesn’t look too bad. What is a blended diet? I have a progression of clear liquids to full liquids then puréed and softy foods before regular foods. Each phase is one week. -

Awesome. Do you have a pre-op diet? -
I am going to take all of these at the same time at night. It just says the dosage is 2 for multivitamin, 2 for Calcium, 3 for iron/vitamin C and 1 for D3. So this picture is a 1-2 month supply depending on the bottle. It cost me about $20 a bottle. I’m sure you can find them cheaper somewhere. But yea I’m going to take them all at night.

Hi! I start my liquid pre-op Wednesday too. I have surgery on the 25th. I’m so excited to finally be here. My surgery has been pushed back twice! -
Okay, I’ve only done two days of the liquid and then surgery got pushed back BUT I didn’t lose any weight. Not even water weight which confused me. So I took measurements and I had lost an inch on my waist. It totally made me feel awesome! So take some measurements!

Hi! My pre-op diet really fills me up. It’s called the Robard Diet. The products are called New Direction. It’s about 1,000 calories, 3 shakes or puddings, 1 soup and 1 bar. There are lots to choose from. This is for 14 days and everything is just packed with protein. It might be a good way to reset yourself. Just a thought. I am a newbie here.

Help!!! Need advice on telling people they are fat!
Laura7 replied to Sleeved36's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
So, I think people need to be told. I also think people need options. I think a brochure would be nice, or a flyer. You could include the bypass for over a certain BMI and show how to calculate your BMI. There could be a recommended healthy weight and/or a few diet plans recommended. Maybe a list of tips for healthy eating and exercise. I’m a teacher so I respond to things I can read on my own and things I can make choices about. I don’t like being told what to do but sometimes it needs to be done. -
July 25th for me too

It’s awful waiting! July 25th

My pre-op diet is really great! My surgery got pushed back so I started then stopped. I can’t wait to start again. It’s the most filling diet I’ve ever been on. It’s called the Robard diet with new direction products. It’s awesome. July 25th here I come!
-
I’m now July 25th. I re-start my pre-op diet in 8 days. I’m super excited because my pre-op diet actually tastes decent and fills me up! I’m doing my best to stick to my own diet right now. I’ve already had plenty of “last meals” so now I’m just focused on losing as much as I can before surgery!

Nevermind

Hey, I’m July 25th. Mine was July 11th and got pushed back. So I’m just trying to keep busy for two weeks, then pre-op diet.
