  1. HOW LONG IT TOOK AND WHERE I STARTED- I started in November 2017, my appointments went quickly. I was held back by not doing well enough in nutrition classes. My surgery is scheduled for July 25, 2018. That's 8 months of waiting. HW-375 CW-355 SW-TBD
  2. New starting photo. I started logging my food yesterday.
  3. Since starting my 1100 calorie diet I’m down 7.4lbs! My next milestone is only 21.6lbs away!
  4. It worked! Down 1.8lbs from yesterday. Time to start losing again. Not planning on taking a cheat day for a long while!
  5. Ugh, so taking my cheat evening is really annoying me. So here are a few TIPS for those struggling in the days after your cheat meal. 1. Get lots of water 2. Drink peppermint herbal tea 3. If you haven’t had a BM in two days take some miralax or laxative 4. Lower your sodium and carb intake 5. If you can, exercise and then rehydrate. I’ll let you know tomorrow if it worked!
  6. So, I’ve been on this diet for seven days and I took a date night cheat meal/evening with dinner out and wine. Back on track today! Should take me about three days to drop this 1.6 lbs. Hopefully faster! I’m feeling really confident because I planned my night off and am ready to get back to it today.
  7. I bought some new workout shirts! The lowest plus size 1x. They are large for me but I like to have room working out. The best part is that I didn’t go all black. I actually bought colors and they look great!
  8. And now...I’m down 5lbs in 6 days. I haven’t lost that fast since September 2018, two months after surgery. So this is working! My first day of nutrisystem was a little hard. I forgot every time I introduce a new food to my stomach there is a chance it will reject it! And yes, I know there are carbs in nutrisystem. There is also protein and fiber and portion control and mini-meals and vegetables and protein shakes. Lots of good things for a short term plan.
  9. I had 99g of protein today! Including two of these shakes and 39grams from food.
  10. My meals are here! I’m already on an 1100 calorie diet but nutrisystem starts tomorrow and my new personal trainer starts next Saturday.
  11. This is day 5 of 1100-1300 calorie diet. Tomorrow I start nutrisystem. I am trying to stick to 1100/day.
  12. So, I’ve had some success with NOOM. I haven’t lost weight but it has kept the weight off and it has gotten me to make some healthy choices that will be sustainable. Today is day 2 of my new low carb, high Protein diet. I’m hopeful. I’m looking at this picture to remember where I came from and motivation for moving forward.
  13. Added soup, iced and cold teas, protein pasta and veggies. Trying to make healthy choices!
  14. Still working on things. I haven’t disappeared. As soon as I have some more progress I’ll update you guys. Struggling with carbs etc. and using the NOOM app right now to get back on track.
  15. That’s so great! I’m struggling with my food and exercise. I’m going to get back on track. I’m def. having a hard time but hoping to use this as a tool and put in the hard work.
  16. Hey everyone. I lost that ten pounds over spring break and I was feeling great. Now I’m in a rut and just waiting for school to be out so I can focus on my diet and exercise. 15 days until then!
  17. I’m doing great! In a size 14! Down from 22/24!
  18. So, no weight loss this morning. Still at 263.4 or 263.6. I’ve been PERFECT with my diet and taking walks, using the elliptical and going to personal training. I hate these days when your body just holds on to the weight. I’m going to drink plenty of Water today and see if that helps. I know that I’m doing everything right. :-(
