Everyone stalls at different times. Its all right it'll come off eventually.😊 -
You have to retrain yourself to drink very slowly. It is hard at first but you'll get the hang of it!!! It gets easier!!😉

Gastric Sleeve Surgery is it painful?
Dorothy_Correz replied to Nikki50's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
It depends on who you are and your pain tolerance level. I hurt for about a month took lots of pain meds prescribed by the doc and a lot of antacids. I did not feel like myself till about six months later. It just all depends every person's experience is different. But it was well worth it!!!!! -
can i take care of myself after i leave hospital?
Dorothy_Correz replied to joleza's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
You should be ok just make sure you have enough pain meds in case you start to feel bad. Make sure and keep a lot of antacids in case you start to get heartburn. -

Struggling 4 Days Out
Dorothy_Correz replied to NikkiOwl's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
The first few weeks are the worst. I remember laying in the hospital bed in pain. It does get better. I am two years out and there are still foods that I miss eating. I would love to eat a piece of fried chicken or a hamburger with tater tots. After the surgery, my body does not like those types of foods anymore. It has been a hard journey but I am much healthier and happier than I have ever been in my whole life. I am able to walk without pain in my knees and I can move around a lot better now. -

I had surgery a year ago and I'm still losing my hair. I cut my hair short and use biotin and collagen shampoo. I makes my hair look a little fuller

Everyone goes through this it is very normal. Just try to stay positive it gets better. A lot of it is fighting through and getting over the hump. It is hard your body has gone through a huge adjustment. 😊 -

Has anyone kept their surgery a secret?
Dorothy_Correz replied to J Johnston's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
The only one that knows is my husband. I did not tell anyone else. I needed to deal with my own emotions and not with everyone's emotions. Their opinions, what they think, etc...... -
Afraid that I'm going to let fear of pain prevent me from going through with surgery
Dorothy_Correz replied to Oct517's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Pain lasts for a little while. It rises and falls like the sun. It comes and goes like the seasons. Don't let it scare you. Sent from my Z955L using BariatricPal mobile app -
