Woohoo, I made it through all 8 pages of this thread! Now I feel like I know you all :huh2: I was banded April 25th at TLBC in Toronto. Today is day 2 post op..I'm doing pretty good. Pretty sore, of course, but not too bad hunger wise. Just sipping and walking! And trying to keep my 4 little ones off of Mommy..lol.

Everything will be ok, hon. Seriously. There is nothing worse then feeling anxious. Do you normally have episodes of panic or anxiety attacks like this? (((huge hug))) When you are feeling anxious, take deeeep breaths, all the way to the bottom of your lungs. It will help to calm you. And stay away from any negative threads in regards to the band. Only read the success stories and postive things for now. Everything is just fine :huh2:

Another nursing Mama here...I was banded yesturday and am still nursing my toddler (yowtch when she lays across my belly though, a pillow between us is helping). Just wanted to encourage other nursing Mommies not to give up :smile2:

Here we are on the other side! We made it!!!!!! I'm sore today. For some reason I haven't been taking my pain meds, perhaps I should! My stomach feels like i got suckerpunched, but I'm hanging it there. The chest pains suck though.

Hi Everyone! I am brand new here and thought I should introduce myself I am a homeschooling Mama to 4 wee ones..live near Toronto..and am scheduled for my lap-band at TLBC on April 25th (wow, one week tomorrow!). I have been on my pre-op diet for 6 days now, and have lost 10lbs (woohoo!!)..am very excited to continue on this journey!! Looking forward to getting to know you all I am going to post this in the intro section also, so forgive me if you read it twice..lol.
