I think its a diet thing, not a band thing (I was wondering the same thing, and thats the conclusion I've come to..lol).

Where were you banded? Originally I was booked for Mexico..2 weeks before I called around here to see (I was told by the Mexican surgeon that I would have no problem with aftercare/fills here..boy were they wrong) how much it would be for aftercare..the cheapest place I found charged $5000.00 for aftercare. And that only covered the first 2 years of fills, etc. I did the math and chose to be banded in Toronto instead, it ended up cheaper in the long run...

I say, whatever your surgeon told you sounds like it's working for you

((hug)) I hope you find one asap that can help. Perhaps your surgeon knows of a cheaper place? (Just trying to think of ideas with you). Honestly, I didn't even think to call around until my date was SO close, so I totally get that.

I just about died, called a few more places, and realized they were all going to charge a fortune, and ended up just being banded locally, even though the initial cost was more then Mexico, I ended up saving in the long run. Were you told you could get fills/after care here cheaper before you went?

Hey Susan! You sound like a like-minded Mama :w00t: My little isn't so little She is going to be 2 in a couple weeks. The others all weaned while I was pregnant with the next one (4 kids in 7 years..lol). This is the first that will wean without a sibling coming along.

I bought both the lemon lime and orange at TLBC. I'm pretty sick of them both..lol. I am a water drinker though, so anything too sweet is pretty hard for me to take.

Yea or nay? I have cream soups on my list for tomorrow..but I am a bit nervous to have them. I am, however craving them, so..any tips? Do I have to strain/dilute them? I know I have to take the chunks out..

Hmmm...I am 3 days post-op...haven't heard anything, and don't go back for 5 weeks for a check...it kinda bothers me a bit, in terms of my incisions not being checked, etc. I paid $16,000 out of pocket...someone look at me, dang it.
