I have actually thought about calling a man I have known for about 8 yrs. or so. he has asked me out several different times. I met him at 1 of the stores I used to manage. he was a regular customer. I knew when and why he got a divorce from his wife.( I knew her too because she was also a customer.) But him and I bump into each other every couple of yrs. He has asked me out at my heaviest and even talked about how much better I would feel if I lost weight. The strange thing is I never got upset with him when he talked about it. He had asked me out after his divorce and I laughed and said no. I kinda made a joke about it cause he would ask me every couple of weeks. Then I left that company. Ran into him at another store I managed. He started asking me out again. That's when I was my heaviest. But I told him I worked to much to go out. So he gave me his phone number. I am thinking about calling him now that I am 77 lbs lighter than before. I still have an extremely long ways to go. But what if he has finally settled down? What would I say? I haven't dated in 6 yrs. The time before that was 13 yrs. I used to enjoy dating. But a failed marriage and 2 failed engagements have made me extremely shy about getting hurt. Oh well sorry so long. If I decide to call him I will let you know.

You too! First edition of Heidi and the Bobsey Twins to me are sweet finds! Well I have been doing so good this week about not having to take pain pills during the day. Only take at bedtime with a muscle relaxer until last night. I decided to try to not use them at night. I am paying for it now. I just took both. So back to taking them at night. Talking about my NSV shorts. While at DS's home I forgot what I was wearing. Well like a child needing to go pee and waits till the last minute. I almost peed myself. When I ran into the restroom I grabbed both sides and went to jerk my shorts down! They wouldn't move!:tongue2: That split second I seen things flashing in my mind. Oh, my DBIL ans DN would have a blast with this one. It would be one Auntie would never live down!:thumbup::biggrin: Then I started trying to fumble with the button!(note to self..when wearing these shorts make time for potty) Such a strange feeling trying to unbutton something on my stomach! I haven't done that in 31 yrs.

I forgot my NSV.... I have a pair of walking shorts that I got from the clothes closet at our LB support group meetings. Any way I have had them about 3 months. Today I thought what the heck and tried them on. They fit and nicely! What makes me so excited is they button and zip! I can't remember the last time I wore anything on my bottom that buttoned and zipped! :biggrin:

Why doesn't this surprise me this thread is plain's favorite one? Any way I have gone from a 58 C/D (depending on brand of bra) to a 48 D. I can buy at stores again! Tried running one day and ended up with a black eye from the girls.:smile: Remembered why I hated running as a kid. Still hate running.:cool2: As long as they hang I could stand and bat baseballs with them by just swinging my top! Look ma no hands! LOL

Do I blame the parent? I'm not for sure. I have mixed feelings on this. When I was 9 my parents put me on WW. Bought a cute dress that was of course way to small for me as an incentive. What this done was, drove me to sneak food, not just then but for a lifetime. I wasn't really fat at 9 yrs old. But by the time I was 14/15 I was 225. I remained that weight for yrs. I was chubby at 9. But they didn't make chubby clothes for girls, but they did make huskeys for boys of that age. Who's to say if my parents didn't do that what I would have turned out like. Would I have gotten fat or would I have lost my baby fat? In all fairness my parents went on WW also. They were both heavy. I found out after my mother died that her mother weighed over 300 lbs when she died. (mom didn't talk a lot about her family) So I don't know. We aren't there with this mother. We don't know what if anything she tried. I agree after a certain age a child will, if they want food, find a way to get it no matter what the parent does.

Ebony. I am glad you love your little new car. Have fun with it, BUT........waiting for it..........why white? I love Celestial Teas also. I have 1 corner cupboard that on 1 shelf I have over 10 different types of teas. My favorite is BlueBerry. I love my hot teas especially in the winter. LOL When I first moved here, they really didn't know what hot tea was other than to make ice tea with. I got a lot of "You mean to tell me you actually drink it hot?" "That just aint natural." :wub: I never thought anything about it when we would come visit Grandma & Grandpa. Grandma kept Tab around and ice tea. But we always had tea bags for hot tea. Enough people have transplanted here from the North, so there are many different types of tea now instead of the 2 that where here when I moved. Gallon and 1/2 gallon size bags.:wub: Irritated with #2 DD. She knew I was going to pick up my DGSs today so they could mow my yard. It is so high. I called her before I left work and she tells me they have to be home by 4. Wow 1 hr to mow in and get them home? We talked about it yesterday and everything was hunky dory. My yard looks like white trash lives here! Hasn't been mowed in 2 weeks now. You would think that with 3 DDs and 2 SILs that someone would mow my grass. They all know I have weight limits. But I guess in the end, I know it won't get done unless I do it!:cool2: My DGSs help but can't mow the hill. They have been gone for the last few weekends. GG... I am so sorry your going thru this. There is another woman on the PJTP thread, Heartfire is her name and she has clusters. My DD has severe migrains from he Meniers. I feel for you. Especially being hungry from the steriods. I was recently put on them for a short time and gain 6 lbs. I wish you the best of luck. I will pray for you. Please keep posting.

I drink a lot of water but still have the problem. I live off Tic Tacs. I need to own stock in them. At home I am fine, but at work or anywhere else I have them on me.

Tap I feel so bad for you! Have you tried Sleepy Time tea? Are you stressed out about something (other then not sleeping)? I pray you get some sleep soon hon. You might not gain it right back. it's going to take you a little while before you eat regularly again. I am sorry for the pain of braces since you can't take them off. I have partial dentures that cost me a small fortune. I can't wear them cause they choke me so bad any more. Haven't worn them in almost 2 yrs. But when I first got them my mouth was so sore from wearing them. I never got to the point where I could eat solid foods with them. I could do mushies no prob. So I ate even worse than I did before. But then they started to choke me when I put them in. Oh well. Lu I hope you get the relief you need today. Maybe not a complete unfill. Ebony how did it go at work yesterday? Slim, I feel for you with the braces. DD had them. She didn't eat before we went and was starving when we left. I didn't think and took her to Chee-Burger Chee-Burger. Poor baby hated me for the next 3 yrs! Lu, Sorry your still having trouble. Maybe you won't need a complete unfill. Hubby's food does sound good.
