Hi. My Dr. recommends Flintstones chewable vitamins at first. then after you start to eat solids a chewable multi vitamin. A lot of people stick with the Flintstones. I Take Centrum because of my age. Eat your protien and a few carbs every week and your hair shouldn't fall out. Good Luck on your journey.:thumbup:

Congrats SNT! I am happy for you. LJM...I had a face book account that I had started right before my computer ended up with a ton of viruses. I almost didn't join FB because they had said on the news (about a month before I joined) that it had a lot of viruses. I figured with everyone on here getting on and as long as I waited that I would be safe. NOT! That was the only different place I had been. Within a couple of days after joining I started having some problems. Within 2 weeks my puter was down. My DSIL is a computer ITT tech. (he built my computer) had a heck of a time cleaning the 1 virus off. So soon as I got it back I cancelled my account on FB. PJTP....I have been awake since yesterday morning. I tried to sleep but can't. My mind won't shut down long enough for me to sleep. I am tired. But as soon as I lay down my mind starts talking to me and won't shut up!:thumbup:

Congrats to you and your hubby wuan! Welcome. Ask any questions you and hubby might have and we will do our best to answer them. Remember follow the Dr.'s orders. Don't try to eat before you are allowed. Your body needs that time to heal. Don't listen when people say well I ate chicken fingers or a burger a week after surgery and I am fine. That could cause trouble down the road if not sooner. Look at the thread for each of your stages and what to eat or drink. There are some great recipes on the site.:tongue:

I lowered my steering wheel. It is no longer on tilt! I finally fit into a jacket that I had gotten @ 1 of the places I used to manage. I never was able to wear it. They had also given my a heavier coat. I can now pull it down over my boobs! Before I couldn't get it down over my shoulders. It was a smaller size than the jacket. I have had these coats for 4 yrs. Doing the happy dance:Dancing_biggrin:

Cut the meat in small pieces. Like the size of a pencil eraser and chew, chew, chew! Stay away from slider foods such as chips cookies etc. The bread, pasta and rice a lot of banders have trouble with. I can eat bread but no longer like it. I can't eat rice unless it is just a little cooked in something. I can't sit down and eat lets say a bowl of rice. I can no longer do spagettii, but i can do wide noodles and maccaroni. I can't do the Ramon noodles. Every one's band is different. I used to be able to eat eggs till a few weeks ago. Now I can no longer do scrambled or omlets or fried. I can do boiled eggs fixed any ol way I want them. You will find out that our bands are like cats.....FINICKY! I hope this helps you some. Good luck with your journey. Please keep us posted.

I am the same way. I refuse to have carpet because I have animals and they do have accidents. I don't like to go barefooted at anyone's home except family. Well let me rephrase that, 1 DD's home, DB's and my DS's home. My other family members, AINT NO WAY!

As far as chocolate goes eat sugar free chocolate pudding. You need more water than what your getting. Are you doing a lot of slider foods? Throwing up all the time is not right. But after throwing up did you go onto liquids or mushies for the next day or two, or did you try to eat regularly? If your band is irritated and swollen from throwing up you will only make it worse if you continue eating solids. You have to rest your band a little. I pray you will be alright.

Way to go slim! I am dreaming when I can wear any size that is in the teens.:thumbup: Well folks I have finally done what I should have done a long time ago. I joined a gym! My DS & DBIL had joined at the beginning of Jan. Well I went with her a couple of times last week and enjoyed it. I won't go by myself. Otherwise I would have used up the 4 weeks of free passes (to another gym) I have a long time ago. DBIL had emergency surgery in the middle of Jan. So sis asked me to go with her. That is what everybody is giving me for my b-day 1 month paid at the gym. So that takes care of four months! LOL

Glad to see you back on. Good thet Dr. used your TT scars. Sorry you had a rough time of it/ But you will soon forget the pain. You will remember it was there, but the intensity will lesson everytime you look at little bean. Any idea when you and LB will get to go home? Thoughts and prayers are still with you.

I had a guinea pigs named Cuddles and Guinea baby and Quick Draw McGraw. .Some of my cats names have been Peanut, Germs, Miss O'Mally, Dutches and Moose and Zipper. Those are the most memorable names. Dogs names Ringo, GiGi,Tyson, Harry. I can't remember 1/2 the names of the animals I have had over the years. I grew up on a farm so had lots of different types of animals and names. My avatar, his name is Precious, kinda a spin on the old cartoon Precious Pup. Congrats LJM and family! Welcome baby J.

I was floored when I heard she has 6 other children. Why if you already have 6 would you want invertro? When I was little I actually wanted 12 kids. I wanted 6 of my own and to adopt the other 6. But reality set in when I got married and started having kids. I still think adoption is a good way to go. So if you have 6 and want more why not adopt? Or become a foster parent. This is MHO.
