Long, glad your hubby is safe. God works in mysterious ways. I can empathize with you and your hubby. A couple of yrs ago my DD and her family was staying with me while their house was being finalized. DSIL went down to the corner station for something. Anyway it was pouring down rain and he seen a kid (teen) asking for a ride in this direction. He didn't think anything about it and gave the kid a lift. (distance to the station 1 mile) 3/4 of the way here the kid pulls a gun and wants his money. My SIL had spent what he had on him. He told the kid that and the kid started to get agitated and my SIL gave him his watch and cell phone. The kid got out of the car and took off on the side road. But the police here couldn't do a whole lot about it. Said this was the 3rd or 4th time this kid has done this. He finally got busted a couple of weeks later at the station when someone else called the police on him. Anyway it really shook SIL up along with the rest of us. SIL wouldn't let DD or me go out after dark even together.

Hey Saved. Yes I made it to the meeting. But not for sure about April's meeting yet. I am supposed to have a fill that afternoon. But I believe I am at my sweet spot after this last fill on Monday. But I will wait a couple of weeks before I cancel my appointment. But if I have one I won't get back in time for the meeting. I am doing good. Thanks for asking. Glad your feeling better. Thanks Slim. I hadn't even thought about it. I just had an itch. I reached up to scratch it and realized there was a bone. Then I checked other side and found another. So I have been a loser all day and rubbed them until they are a little sore. Can we say OCD?:scared2: Yay for hubby! Hopefully your home life will get back to semi normal. Thanks green. I have a question for you and I know it is none of my business but how long after banding did you find out about your cancer? I read one of your post about your hubby, I think you have a wonderful hubby. Prayers are with you.

I just love the octo-moms thread. No wonder I don't read books anymore. I read there and I get drama, humor, gossip and sadness. :scared2: The only thing I don't get is travel.

Green, prayers and thoughts are with you. PJTP....I must be at my sweet spot. Yea! I got a fill on Monday. I have to remind myself to eat! LOL Before I thought to much about food and now hardly ever! This is so great! I have lost 3 lbs since Mon.!:thumbup: I have always been happy with my band, but I really did have to work it. Now I still will have to work it to a certain extent, like making sure I get my water in and my protien. (even though right now I don't want anything). I kinda liken it to a couple. First research and banding= going steady and engagement phase. Sweet spot= Honeymoon phase. Reaching and maintaining goal= The rest of your life comitment in sickness and health phase.

I am glad you had a good night. As far as hubby goes I would also tell him it is your cell phone not his, So don't worry and to quit snooping thru your mail. (is the cell phone bill in your name?) You are a grown woman, your not the one who went out and screwed around, he is. He lost all his right to know anything that you don't feel like letting him know. But unfortunately men think different than women. They think we should forgive them their indiscretions, but if the shoe was on the other foot, most men would have kicked us to the curb as soon as they found out. :confused: Anyhow have a good day Tina and good luck on what is happening.
