Thanks Luluc. I am not very computer literate. I can do the basics. I have my resume on line and it seems that what I hear back from is insurances wanting me to be an agent. I don't understand insurance, so I really can't see me trying to explain it to anyone else. What your friend does sounds great but I don't know the first thing about virtual job hunting.:thumbup: I can do scheduling. I have done enough of that in management. Right now I am even having trouble getting into my local employment on line. I have called and checked my password and username. I have it right, I just can't get logged on. It tells me my use name is invalid. I used it last month with no problem. GRRRRRRRR. :cursing:So I am going to bite the bullet and go to the employment office in the morning and pray it isn't raining. You have to be in line by 6 am or you will be there all day or have to go back the next day and try again.:cry_smile:

Thanks slim. I am going to go to one of the other temp agencies. Even though most have my online resume. I guess it is better to go in person than on line. The temp agencie I am through is kinda irritated with me today. They called yesterday afternoon and I accepted the job for today. Then I receive a call from my youngest DD. She told me to pick up #2 DD and take her to her house and for me to keep the DGC. That way #2DD can think without the kids around and SIL treating her like she is less than a human. So I call the agencie back and explain that a family matter has come up. Needless to say they are irate with me. I am even more irate with #2 DD. She changed her mind. So her I am today when I could have been working. But whose to say she won't go ahead and do that today. Mine is doing that. Hopefully it will correct itself in a little while.:cry_smile: Good morning all. Have a good day.:thumbup:

Thanks Ebony, That's whom I am thru now. (I am also a substitute teacher thru the city school system) My positions are over now. They don't have anywhere that they can put me right now. They are very tunneled visioned. They have only looked at 1 thing I can do. Not at anything else such as management positions. Balancing money, supervisory positions. All that they looked at was I could do cafeteria work. When I ask if they have another position they say no. I think they want to force me to take a temp position at the 1 factory they have on their roster. I know this factory and I can not stand in 1 place for 12 hrs. I have to be able to move around or my arthritis acts up so bad I can barely walk. I can be on my feet as long as I move around a lot. I don't know what to do. I am totally confused. Between no job and my DD and her situation. She might be coming back. I will do whatever I can to help her, but she has no job and her car needs to be fixed. SIL isn't going to fix her car anytime soon. Especially if she leaves him! I am sorry to sound so whinny. :blush:

I think I got everyone. if not I am sorry I missed you. I have been out Job hunting today. Hopefully I will hear back from some place. I am desperate, I applied at fast food places. I don't mind working in pizza places but hate Hardee's and places like that.:smile: But will do what I have to.

Mimi..so sorry to hear about your cat. I have 2 cats and love them dearly. They are 13 and 12 Father and daughter. I am constantly fighting not to get another cat when people offer me one. I will eventually get a dog again after I fence in my yard next yr. (hopefully) I love animals and would have a farm if I wasn't in the city. LOL

Thanks everyone. My DD went back to SIL. I used to really love the guy. But over the last 2 yrs he has turned into a real jerk. He is getting worse. DD doesn't want to believe that mental abuse is as bad as physical abuse. I told her she needed to think about the kids 1st and not her and her hubby. But she thinks being with him is better. Like I told her, her dad was a low-life, but he never tried to bring the kids into our fights. (Even though I left when the kids were little.) If any man said what my SIL said to my DGS, to my kids, he would have very limmited visitation Supervised visitation (after picking his teeth up off the ground). I figured she would go back. The one thing I will do more, is every weekend when I have the boys, try to teach them that treating women like their daddy does is just as wrong as hitting them. Thanks all for letting me vent.

You hit it right on the head Steve. I love the way you put it.For some people it will be like a light bulb going off. For others they will keep sweating it because people don't read or listen to their Dr. or use common sence!

Hey everyone. How are you all today? it sure is slow in here today. Update on yesterday... I took my DGD to Sci-Quest. Her and I had a lot of fun. My DGS didn't get to go. My DD and her hubby was arguing and her wouldn't let the boys go. After when my DGD was on our way home my DD calls and tells me to come get her and the kids. She has had enough. There was litteraly a struggle over my oldest DGS. he was in the car on my DD's lap (there was no more room in the car with 3 car seats in the back) anyway SIL jusked open the door and jerked him away from DD. I feel so bad about what all he was told by his dad. he is going to be scarred for life. he won't know how to treat women unless we can get him away. SIL was telling DGS that when SIL's brother raped my DD that she liked it. That she was a whore and all sorts of other things. You don't tell a 9 (will be 10 in July) year old things like that. Then he had DGS laugh at her! The boy is afraid to not do what daddy say's because one time he stuck up for my DD and his dad didn't talk to him hardley for a month. My DGS told me he didn't like being at home because of it. So I know that is why he is doing what SIL tells him. Please pray that we can get my DGS away from him. That I have patience and how ever your heart is lead in this situation. I thank you all in advance.

I agree with what Jacqui says. Find a new Dr. asap. This is not good. My prayers are with you. Please keep us posted.

Everyone else good morning. I had a great day yesterday with my DGSons and my DD (youngest) After I took the DGS home, my youngest took me out to eat for a late mothers day. She was sick on Mothers day and couldn't do any thing. We went to Beauregard's to eat. It is her favorite place. I couldn't make up my mind where I wanted to go so we went there. The waitress was so funny. She kept asking if I wanted something to drink. Then she watched me while I ate a little and kinda picked at my food. She had the look on her face of I know she is going to say something is wrong. She doesn't like her food. I could see the relief on her face when I asked for a 2 go box. Since I still had 3 quarters of my food left. I would have eaten more but I tried some of their fully loaded baked potato salad to see if I would like it. I did like it, but changed my mind on getting it and ate 1 of my daughters fried pickles. So I wasn't really hungry. But her face was so telling, it was quite commical. Today I am getting my 2 DGS and I have my oldest DGD. I am taking them to Sci-Quest today. They are free today! Yay! I won't have to spend anything but gas money today! Then they are all spending the night and church with me tomorrow. The boys almost allways spend Sat. night with me and go to church. My DGD I don't have to often so this is a treat. I got sunburned Thursday mowing the yard. I am surprized that I hadn't gotten burnt before now this year. But I am still stinging which is unusual for me. I guess its because I didn't put vinigar on it this time. Just Aloevera gel. I know I am rattling on. Sorry. Everyone have a blessed and safe Memorial Day weekend.
