I am 8 weeks out and h e not thrown up at all

Jbyerly101 I am 8 weeks post op, was nauseous every time I ate u til a few days ago. It’s slowly getting better. My surgeon said some people experience the nausea for up to 3 months. But mine is finally subsiding

The difference 3.5 weeks post op makes

My first words when I woke up were ow ow ow give me drugs and then I went back to sleep

Hi everyone! I know a few people who had June 27th as their date like me. Just wanted to check in with everyone and see how they are holding up!

I 12 days post op. I was sleeved on the 27th of June. So far so good!

I’m just so scared that I’m going to mess something up, either drinking too much or drinking too little. Like you said, your feeling of being full is different now and I don’t want to push the limits, I’m trying to do everything to a T but the feelings are all so new Yea, today is my first full day home, and i took my liquid pain killer, wanted to wash it down with a few sips of watwer, and all that right after each other made me nearly puke. I had to try really hard not to throw up.

I was June 27th

2 days post op it still sucks but it’s getting better everyday. Waking up sucks because that’s when I’m most nauseous and have horrible reflux. But I take my zofran and Prilosec and it gets better hang in there everyone it’s the start of the new and improved you!

I’m here in the waiting room waiting to be checked in for surgery, a Xanax would be nice

@flredheadmom where are you having surgery at?

I’m getting sleeved Wednesday! Have to be at the hospital in 5 and a half hours but I can’t sleep

4 more hours on my last day at work before my leave begins. Surgery is on Wednesday. The anxiety is kicking in!

Not at all, and I keep getting headaches which I would normally take alieve for but I’m stuck with Tylenol
