Hey yall, 

Im just a simple girl from Pennsylvania. I just love anything that involves my family. 

Ive decided to get the Gastric Sleeve because at 33 years old i was on at least 13 pills a day, almost all due to being overweight, i have High blood pressure, high chlosterol, PTC/IHH, thyroid issue, joint pains, back pains, acid reflux, GERD, several vitamin issues..

my starting weight was 256, my preop weight was 234 and my current weight is 222

my surgery was 6/5/2018 with weight of 234, today is 6/17/2018 and weight is 222

Its been a rough road, i had to quit smoking, which i am glad I did. I went through everything i needed to to be able to get the surgery and then was told my weight was more than when i started and had to lose 10 lbs in a month, I got put on weight loss pills and pretty much had to starve myself, then for my months appts it worked and i lost 13lbs so I was back on track of setting up for the surgery.. Then the phone call came that they didnt have any "major" medical issues for me to submit my paperwork and wanted to do more tests to find that "major" issue.. The tears flew and I felt defeated and was done, i didnt care anymore. I figured its been 33 years why care. I was comfortable in my skin just not my health.. then i was driving with my mom and the call came.. " Hi Jessi, would you like to schedule your surgery?" I freaked and had to pull into Burger King Parking lot and plan surgery.. june 5th 2018 and they would call me athe day before to tell me what time i had to be there. well this started the 6 day liquid diet i had to do, Oh that was hell, sorry to anyone that had the 14 day diet. then here comes the night before. 10:45 am we get there and im ready to go in and get this done, i didnt get in until about 1, that really sucked.. my mom, sister and husband all were there by my side.. then comes the prepping me and getting everything ready. thats when things got real, I was there for a major surgery. . then they were done and theres my family waiting for me to wake up. i wake up to them making fun of me for being funny. I sent them all home tho, i was tired and sore. the next day my mom and husband came and visted, I did lots of walking and drinking, i was ready to get home, but i had to do testing and stay another night, so after several hours of visiting i sent them home, oh and my husband brought me a cute monkey and ballons, the next day was day to go home, but only if i drank the 40 ounces and was able to walk. yep 5 pm and i drank my last ounce and got discharged.. at home was crazy tho, a new adventure was steps. but i did it, didnt get to see my puppy tho, she gets to crazy and wanted to jump on me.. but a few days go by and im doing good.. im about 12 days out and the only issue im having is so pain with drinking. feel thirsty but cant chug down a drink anymore. so been working on that.. im slowly starting to switch into phase 2 now. and i cant wait haha
