Hello. My name is Jennifer. I live in Texas. I was banded on 10/10/2008. I see that you have lost 108 pounds! That is FANTASTIC!!!! I have only lost 15-20lbs! I just started Jazzercise. I love it and I am glad that I am exercising now! I just cannot get over my "food issues". I feel like a failure because I am not in the same position as you in losing 108lbs. by now! My surgeon asked if this surgery had been a mistake. That makes me feel even more like a failure! I just need some guidance and support. Do you mind?

Hey, Diva! I was banded on 10/10/2008. I am also from Plano, Texas! It is so cool to see there are people close to me that have been banded. I will get my first adjustment on 11/6/2008....this Thursday. I hope this gives me some restriction atleast. I have been eating normally for the past two weeks and I am getting scared that I will need 5 or 6 adjustments before I even feel restriction. I mean, if we didn't have a problem with food we wouldn't need the band, right? It's just so hard to give up the carbs, sweets, and lots of them. I NEED TO START EATING RIGHT!!!! LOL!!!! My surgeon is going to kill me if I don't lose anymore weight. Well, anyway, I thought that I would leave you a message and hopefully we can become eachothers coaches and support or something!
