I am 6 weeks post op as of today. I weighed 280 pre-op. And today I weigh 245lbs. I must say, the roughest patch of this process post op is discovering that you still crave all the foods you were used to eating and can no longer enjoy them as before. This is one huge challenge. I still stick to the protein shakes and in between try new foods. The ones which are hard to take in...I will try in another 30 days.
The best side effect is I can move better, walk further and now I’m running. What a great feeling!
The vitamins are key and protein get them all in.
