I Am married to a man that's set in his way of doing things plus he's in the one move status and I cannot introduce any other moves nor suggest any without it being a disaster. Sooo, "downtown " is out of the equation. Lol. BUT thanks for the response. I love hearing a man's viewpoint.

Had an endoscopic surgery done with the light. Found have 2 ulcers! One surrounding the staples where the pouch and intestinal tract join and the other ulcers is deeper within the pouch. The surgeon prescribed Prilosec to take 2 times a day for 3 months, then, MY surgeon who preformed my RNY Surgery prescribed Carafe tablets to dissolve in water every 4 hours also. So far so good. Able to eat AND drink now!!

Just had a minor endoscopic surgery and found to have 2 ulcers in pouch area ( on staples and inside). Given medications prilosec and carafe for 3 months. What Your Doctor Didn’t Tell You Before Weight Loss Surgery : Food Edition
BEBJ replied to Alex Brecher's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Magazine
Thanks for this article! The doctors truly do not tell you ANY of these things that our bodies go through. I, myself had the gastric bypass surgery recently and have to be very careful of WHAT I am wearing. Sometimes, I have to wear Depends as a precaution. Such an embarrassment to eat a small amount of protein and vegetable. Leave the dinner table and diarrhea hit you before you make it to the bathroom, especially, when others are sharing! I may have shared too much. BUT, I needed you to know that THIS is an exceptional idea of a Forum YOU put together 😃! Great job!! -
Thanks !

I talked to the GI nurse that works with the surgeon who did my surgery and she has set up an upper GI with the light to see what's going on. Thank you for answering back so quickly.

BEBJ started following Pain when swallowing
-
Had my gastric bypass surgery on May 15, 2018. Soon as I woke swallowing when I drink was painful. The nurses assured me that it came from tube that was placed in my throat for breathing purposes. I was in the hospital for 2 days and released with the painful swallowing STILL going on TODAY! No matter WHAT I drink or try to eat it hurts to swallow. Has anyone else had this problem?
