I'm thankful for you and the way you always have something good to share, as well as great words of encouragement. Yes we will always be buddies in this journey. I hope the peptides work well for you. It's great that it will help with hair. I know I have to get something to help in that area, due to my hair starting to shed really bad, from the weight loss. My surgeon recommended biotin supplements, so I will try them out and see if it helps. Keep your head up and don't get discouraged!

Thank you so much. Congrats on making 250! Try not to compare your progress though. We all lose at different paces. I know it can feel somewhat disappointing at times, when you're not seeing a lot of weight coming off. You're just dealing with other health issues, that are making things go at a slower pace. Don't beat yourself up about it. Just do what you can. Exercising sitting down, doing low impact exercises would be a good way for you to be active. Just don't over push yourself. I hope your new doctor will be able to help you. I'm rooting for your success![emoji4]

Thank you for checking in on me. The worse part of the pain has finally eased up thankfully. I do end up with some pain from time to time, mainly at night. I'm finally getting in enough protein and liquids. It takes me about 2 hours to finish 8oz of protein shakes. So i'm pretty much sipping protein shakes off and on all day. Had a couple bouts of too much in my stomach. Couldn't feel where I had taken in anything. Figured out what the issue was pretty quick though. I realized I don't do well with warm liquids. So I have to have everything ice cold, to be able to tell when my stomach has had enough. How are things going for you though?

Surgery went well yesterday. Ended up with horrible gas pain and extra pain due to my incisions. I had a hernia repair years ago and one of my incisions had to go through some scar tissue. So that may the pain almost unbearable. I felt like I was in labor and could barely get up to walk they way I needed to. It's almost 6am and i'm still in some pain and a little nauseous now. Despite the pain, i'm still happy that I made the decision to have it done. HW: 297 PSW: 248 SW: 245 GW: 145

I had surgery on Monday and was home Tuesday. I pushed myself to walk, despite the fact I was in pain from a couple of my incisions. Made sure I was getting in my fluids in though. It's now 3 days post-op and i'm feeling better as each day passes. I'm just struggling with getting in my protein, but my surgeon says it's okay if I don't get it all in. She says after the first week, it will get easier for me. I just have to learn my new stomach

Tomorrow morning can't come fast enough! Surgery is at 9am and I am overly excited for this new chapter in my life to begin. I have put in hard work to make it to this point. I am taking time to actually try and relax today and keep my anxiety down, but it's hard too keep calm!!!

All my incisions were above the navel, due to the fact I had too much scar tissue from other surgeries below the navel. I'm feeling a lot better now though. Just have a little soreness around it and some occasional pains that shot through like a labor pain. You will do fine though. They use an ultrasound to see where and how much scar tissue you have

Congratulations on getting a surgery date. Some of the protein shakes are kind of on the gross side. I found Dymatize protein powder to be pretty good. It doesn't have a chat chalky flavor and isn't thick. It's 120 calories, 1 carb, 0 sugars per each 5-6 ounce serving. I got it in the classic chocolate flavor. It's thin when mixed with water, I don't know about with milk though. Hope you find something that works soon.
