Julian Assange isnt protected by the U.S. constitution, he's Australian I believe. So no, no freedom of speech for him as far as we're concerned! By the way its reported he's in England being watched by U.K. police.

Whose arguing, Im giving my opinion and your giving yours, at least I thought thats what we were doing! I never intended to start a conversation with you.

4 months tomorrow since had the band! Have question...
loserbob replied to Nicole74's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Im not sure if the nutrient thing is why your losing hair, I could be wrong but I think it was explained to me that the body changes alot, quickly after surgery(large amount of weightloss quickly at first). Once things slow down hair starts to grow back again. I think the protien might help. I could be totally wrong on this. -
Yah, when I say Im registered independent this is my republican side. Security issues. Part of me likes the fact that now I know the rest of the world feels like we do about Iran and restores hope that we wont let them have nucs.

Julian Assange! Its time for him to disappear.

Julian Assange!

Julian Assange!

They know who leaked the info. U.S. Army Private Bradely Manning 22 yrs old. Already being Court Martialed, more than likely tried for treason, which is grounds for death! Yah! Any military person should think treason is the most dispicable crime their is, right up there with rape and molestation which Julian Assange supposedly is wanted for. There is an international warrant for his arrest from switzerland I believe!

Please tell me how knowing what was "leaked"(leaked meaning classified info not for everyone to know) benefits you so much that you want to pay him a debt of gratitude and what should that debt be?

This was supposed to go with post #7

I edited out the part about lethal injection so this post doesnt get canceled.

I was listening to a news channel today, I cant remember which one, I watch them all. Anyway the host(It was Faux, Megan Kelley), she asked the person she was interviewing what we can do about it because this julian is not American(I thought he was Australian but they where saying they(the U.S. ) should threaten Iceland, not militarily, economically to prosecute him, that its illegal to do what he did even if he's not a citizen of this country. Theyre trying to charge him with rape and child molestation from a June incident(I could be wrong about the time). He will be arrested for something, come on the whole world wants this man now! Thats if he doesnt disappear first!

Again, if its not wrong why are they throwing around treason charges for the U.S. sol, I mean traitor who leaked the documents. You have the soldier who "stole" classified documents without the authorization to do so, these are classified for a reason! I would bet this guy(Julian ends up missing very soon, he's got the whole world pissed at him.

Why is this not considered a crime, the piece of $hit soldier who fed him this info should and probably will be tried for treason. . Anybody who has fought in Iraq or Afghanistan or knows anybody who is should consider this a travesty! What is this guy getting out of this? Freedom of speech unless it endangers others, this pretty much endangers the world. Elcee, I agree with you, give him a metal! A piece of lead right between the eyes! Your beloved Barak evidently felt these secrets should be kept secrets, he didnt feel it necessary to expose any leaks! I wonder how you'll feel when a terrorist succeeds in blowing up an American plane because Saudi Arabia or some other country feels theyd be better off holding intelligence for fear of being "exposed"! Freedom of speech, yah right! You dont see that this could complicate any possible war plans regarding Iran who evidently thought the Arab nations liked them, then finding the opposite to be true because some idiot wants his 15 min of fame! Yah, world peace, its right at your fingertips!!! Think again!

Do you need to measure soup and protein shakes?
loserbob replied to hokiemama's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
When I had mine done in March I remember not measuring but trying to gauge in my head how much I had. I was so tired of soup and broth I didnt have much of an appetite at that point. When I got to mushy stage I watched because I didnt want to possibly stretch the band. I would definitely call your surgeons office because its always best to follow their directions. The rules vary greatly from doc to doc so I would be giving you the advice my dr. gave me. Im not preaching here but if you follow "your" drs. rules there is less chance for any complications. Good luck to you, you will find support and most of the answers you need here. -
Im just wondering why you feel that way, Im not saying your wrong. I think in some ways the leaks benefit our needs like Iran, now everyone knows the U.S. and especially Israel arent warmongers or at least not the only warmongers. Its nice to see there are many others who feel Iran is a threat, including and especially Arab nations! From what I've read I really dont see anything that hurts us. I do however believe we dont need to know alot of what goes on. Thats why we're not told about certain issues. I just dont believe its up to Wikileaks to decide what world secrets should be shared with the public! I still stand by my punishment, in fact Id like to be the one to hand them back to him while he's still tied up, so to speak!

Not losing only eating 600 calories a day, anyone else experience this?
loserbob replied to lisab1965's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Go into "food, Nutrition" topic and look at the post "is it what you eat or how much"?. Check out bambam31's post, he explains caloric intake pretty well. -

loserbob replied to mikki21's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Im just wondering, what are you doing to lose. I know you lost alot even before the band. Are you feeling restriction, are you exercising regularly? I havent lost for a while(I dont think, I only weigh myself at the drs) and I know I need to exercise but I cant find the time and especially the motivation. I dont feel close to restriction, when I chew properly I can eat a good amount. My attitude is that hopefully Ill have restriction soon, I go for a fill in Dec and Im going to ask my dr to be a little more aggressive this time. At this time Im just not ready to starve myself(diet) to lose, Im content on waiting until I feel more restriction. Hopefully very soon. Hopefully that will motivate me to find time to exercise more regularly. Ive lost about 50# since March, most in the first month. Right now Im not sweating my slow loss, Im attributing it to no restriction. I was just curious to see what others are doing to lose weight. Right now I just feel like I didnt do this to diet, I did this to restrict the volume of my intake which is not happening yet. -
Not banded yet but researching... Help please!
loserbob replied to Lowpockets68's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I had Highmark Keystone plan when I started(affiliated with BCBS). I checked out a few hospitals and all had the 6 month programs which made it easy. All I had to do was go once a month to my hospital and have a class and get weighed in. They told me I had to show some loss if I could but the main things were my weight couldnt fluctuate from month to month and I couldnt gain from my origional begining weight. At about month 5 I saw a psych. and nutritionist. Then I set up my surgery date. The hospital did everything as far as dealing with the surgery coverage and approval. I never paid a dime for my appointments or surgery other than my $10.00 co-pay one time in the begining. -
Dont be worried, I now regret my regrets!
