Also I started this thread so I could show my hatred and be judgemental, none of which I deny doing! Maybe Im not a hypocrite after all. You cant tell me when your driving and someone cuts you off, you dont get mad and call them names, even if its under your breath. Thats just 1 example I can think of but no matter how much you deny it happens I dont believe you. So am I a hypocrite for admitting ahead of time that Im this way or are you the hypocrite for denying you do these "mean" things? I think the latter but Im not denying I am.

It might be judgemental but its what I've experienced, sorry! I dont know if Id call it hatred but Im not the one who runs around claiming to love everyone in the first place. I dont feel the need to explain the good deeds I do in everyday life to prove Im a devoted Christian and when I do something for someone I dont do it because Im a Christian, to be honest, the Christian part usually doesnt cross my mind, I do it because it feels like the right thing to do. I think about being a Christian when Im laying in bed at night praying by thanking god for what I have and for accepting me even though I sin. I judge people just like the next person, Im a hypocrite just like the next person, Im a sinner just like the next person(Im sounding like you nut-jobs and Im making myself sick!)But I dont act like Im better than anyone else. And most of all I dont tell anybody what god to believe in or how to worship, etc! I can tell you just through the experience of working for born-agains and dealing with many people everyday, most people are turned off by it.

All these posts about how we're basically a "stupid" country, why are we the richest, most technologically advanced country in the world? As far as the kids from Holland, Norway and I forget the other, lets face it, foreign exchange students arent stupid to begin with. Theyre usually at the top in their classes. My problem with schools, at least the ones I went to is that they concentrate on the smart kids(a better use of words), the kids who try. How about finding a way to motivate the kids that dont try as hard(me). I dont consider myself stupid(no comments needed!), I just didnt care. My sister always did great in school, Deans list, National Honors Society, etc. She knew the school "guidance counselor" almost on a personal basis, I never met the school guidance counselor! Its easier to help the students who dont really need the help and it makes them (councelor)(not sure if Im spelling it right, DAMN YOU GUIDANCE COUNSELOR!!!)look better. Most importantly they dont have to work as hard! Its easy to help someone who asks for help. How about figuring out ways to help people who need it but dont know how to ask for it!!!

I have no Idea what the hell you just said, just dont tell me what to believe and dont tell me Im not going to heaven because Im not "born-again". It seems I have the same beliefs as you, god and Jesus as my savior, I just dont consider myself born-again so I guess that means I dont have to force my beliefs on you! Maybe I am born again, I do use religion in everyday conversation. I say things like Jesus moth^$-fucJKIJ Christ and holy $hit when Im pissed!

Its pushy because thats not what I believe. You(born-agains) believe this is the only way to get to heaven is to be born again. I believe in god and I accept Jesus as my savior but dont consider myself born-again.

My father-in-law made a good point. Bp isnt trying to stop the well from leaking, theyre trying to save the oil. Every attempt involves getting the oil into tankers above, using seperaters to seperate the oil from the water! Just like everything else(war), it revolves around oil!

How about your "MORAL" buddy Glenn Beck mocking Obama(which is fine) and his 11 year old daughter, basically saying shes stupid because she asked daddy if he "plugged the hole yet" "Thats her mentality" he said, then his producer talking like he was black(thats how Rick Sanchez of CNN explained it). Im wondering, when he gave his apology did he cry? Poor guy didnt mean it!!! From what I saw, he was having alot of fun, until he got caught. Its clear to me that he and many other reps hate blacks. Hate Obama because he's black first, then 2nd because he's dem! Heres where your a hypocrite, your "a woman of god"(born-a-nut) and you clearly stated in the past that you only listen to Beck. Guilt by association!(going back to born-again post).

Everyones interpretation of religion is different. Mine is that when Im born into this world i am one of gods children. Holy hell, Im sounding like you, who the hell cares, I believe Im one of gods children so I am!

I wasnt referring to you specifically(Patty), just "born-agains". Really, thats the only problem I have is when "theyre" being pushy. Everyone I know does it, they try to push their beliefs on everyone, I actually think thats part of the criteria, to be pushy with religion. Like I said before, there are alot worse things to deal with than someones religious beliefs. I deal with alot of people every day and it seriously turns me off when I hear people bring religion into everything, I dont run around recruiting people for Catholicism. It also pi$$es me off when people assume because Im a plumber, I lean a certain way on the political spectrum(Thanks Joe, where are you now!)

Sorry, Im Catholic. I became a part of gods family when I was born the first time. Think of how rediculous it sounds to say you where born twice. Thats where I have the problem,"pushy". Dont worry about my relationship with god, worry about yours! I know my opinion is a broad generalization but Its been my experience, everyone I know and most I dont(born-agains) are money hungry hypocrits and it sounds like there are a few others who share similar views! Im not saying Catholics are perfect, hell(oh shit, I said hell, I better find god)all you have to do is watch the news everyday! Religion is like politics, dont tell me what I should believe. Im really not this mean by the way, I just like pulling Patty's chain, so to speak.

I dont discredit my god, who is the same god you believe in. I just dont need to find him, I know where he's at. Unlike you hypocritical nut jobs(not to be critical here)who seem to find him when you do something wrong. Or when you need something!

Im not categorizing you this way because I dont know you. My problem is, every one I know who claims to be born again preaches, pushes theyre views on everyone else as being the only right way. Then, through my experiences, they turn out to be hypocrites by doing very unreligious things. I gave examples in other posts so I really dont feel like getting deeper into it at this time. They always have to let you know about the good deeds they have done, like they want recognition. I do good deeds, I help alot of people but I dont feel the need to broadcast it to everyone. When I said everyone I know,(born-agains) I really meant everyone I know personally is a hypocrite in some way. Real quick, Ive had 2 bosses who where and ripped people off in many ways, very unethical ways. But it does seem like the ones I know are very well off but again theyre all about money, which is supposed to be "the root of all evil".

Just to make a point about "Life begins at conception". My wife had a miscarriage at about 2 months pregnancy, maybe earlier, the dr said the egg and sperm never properly joined, so it wasnt really a life forming. First, he said a life forming, and 2nd, why where we so upset? Again, just my opinion. Like someone else said, everyone interprets even the bible differently.

Thats how I feel. I personally would not have an abortion(well, my wife). Well thats tough, if my wife was raped by someone we might, Im not sure, Id definitely let her make the final decision. But anyway, I wouldnt push my opinion on anyone else. Im opposed to it for the sake of birth control, or irresponsability. I saw a good bumper sticker, it said "Im Catholic and pro-choice". Wow, this is tough, Im not sure now, although I wouldnt have one, I guess Im still pro-choice. I cant say with 100% certainty that I wouldnt have one in certain situations! I also believe that life is formed at conception. None of my beliefs are based on religion or politics. I am Catholic but there are certain things said by my priest or even the bible that I interpret differently(I dont believe in confession which is required every so often to recieve communion but I still recieve communion. I just dont believe I have to tell someone my sins to be forgiven. God knows my sins. Alright enough out of me, Im sounding like Patty "Bible-thumping" Green!!

Heres another example of a born again, bible thumping, nut-job, hypocrit. (IM not saying all bornagains are, just all the ones I know and a few I dont know). This is another former boss of mine, I ran into him the other day and was reminded of his story. Here goes! When I met him for an interview in 2000, he was telling me how his only son was 18 yrs old, his body was found by the allegheny river(in Pittsburgh)cut into pieces. He didnt know how to deal with it so he turned to god(again, wait until a problem to "find god", how hypocritical!) After a few years he started to heal so he and his wife adopted 2 "retarded" children. (I left out the part where he told me he knew who did this to his son and "had the person dealt with".) Again, hypocrite, at this point he had "found god"! Now the real hypocritical part of the story. Years went by(all I wrote about so far happened way before I worked for him, 2000-03). Now about 3 years ago, 2007, he left his wife, who had health problems and is wheelchair bound, for a 26 year old woman, hes about 58. Friends of mine who still work for him tell me he does drugs now! When I saw him the other day, he was wearing Harley clothes, t-shirt, leather vest, earings in both ears. I thought to myself, "what a joke this guy is", just another example of a born again hypocrite!!! I think the hard part for me is, I looked up to and really respected this guy because he was very believable and now I couldnt be more disappointed in him. He always preached about how close his family was and how he'd do anything for them. I dont have a problem with someone not wanting to stay married if the feelings arent there, just the way he went about it was all wrong. Again, Im not saying all born agains are this way but it seems like they have to let you know theyre born again, usually by trying to push theyre beliefs on you and letting you know about "the good deeds" they've done like him, adopting 2 "retarded children"! Maybe I should start a thread about born agains!

Ok, there are alot more Christians than Jews in this country but tjhe majority of people on tv seem to be jewish. Dont ask for proof, I really dont feel like looking anything up right now, just take my word for it!

Theres a reason others on here post about how you bring religion into everything. I just dont appreciate it when someone tells me the faith I believe in is wrong(catholic), especially when my religion has been around alot longer than yours. You'll have to excuse me if Im spelling is incorrect, Ive been drinking margueritas since 2:00 and I really dont feel like correcting myse3lf. (now thAt being said, Catholic priests have made alot of unforgetable mistakes but they are human and i still dontb question the catholic religion itself. Im done, I can see Im going places I dont want to go! Im not some reoligious "NUT" who wants to push my beliefs on everyone else.

I dont have any problems drinking it, I just dont drink it all the time.
